in the first round, a guy named rajesh tiwari came around. he had, honestly, the best voice out of alllll the people who showed up at auditions. he makes amey and karunya look terrible. he sang a rafi song, dil ka sona something. anyways, he got eliminated, at some point obviously. and i find it unfortunate because it seems like india no longer values talent, and only values looks. thats why there are no phenomenal male playback singers. i mean, sonu is good, but he cant hold a candle to kishore kumar or even rafi. where have all the kishores gone?? why are there no more??? i am depressed

is he the guy that turned up late in the theatre round and was put in a trio? And the one who kept saying sher-o-shayari?
I remember him but i dont think he was all that good.
He couldnt pronounce properly and whil that may be a genuine problem, it was quite annoying.

arjun....i agree with you....india no more look for singing talent, as long as they have the looks, perosnalitly and they can "entertain" you....that is all that matters to them 😕

He was the guy who came late for the theaterical round. Eventhough he had a good voice that suited Rafi songs his prounciation was terrible and thats why he lost. He was in the top 50. He sang the 'Dus Bahane song' with 2 people and sounded pretty bad (especially the English words) - otherwise he had a good voice.

No, that was another guy from Lucknow. Rajesh Tiwari is the one who told Sonu Nigam during the audition that people from his neighbourhood will not believe that he met Sonu Nigam. But his pronounciation is really bad, he says 's' for 'sh'. His voice was good, but Indian Idol is more than just voice, the whole personality counts. Anyway, we wish him all the best for the future.

Yea he is the one who got really late. he did have a very gud voice but he did have some problems with pronounciation. I think he was out after the stage round. well, looks do matter but i think singing matters even more. take amit sana for example(sorry amit sana fans I really like him too) he wasn't as good looking as some of the other finalists yet he made it to the top two. I definitely think that in a singing competition voice matters the most
