Neha & Yashsree will flop in the coming rounds.While the best singer Ritu is unjustified in the poll.She is the best singer with good head on the shoulder.She can handle Indian Music in the international arena with pride.😊 😉

she shud have heard how himani sang in sa re ga ma pa (the same song) 4 inspiration.. himani was just brilliant... after watching tht i wasnt at all impressed by ritu's perf.. and besides i dont find her personality too attractive either.. in girls ur either the talkative n smart kind (lyk prajakta or monali) or the shy sweet kind( jolly yasheshri) sumhow she fits into neither...
and yeah i still havent got over the all pink thing 😆 😆 😆

I do totally agree with papad and scarletdec. Ritu (a.k.a pinky) really has some guts and confidence in herself to showcase her talent like she did. I am not questioning her ability here. I know she has immense talant in her.

But the reasons why i don't think she got ample votes to take her into the gala round was bcos...

1) During her stage performance she begged the judges for mercy cos she's from a poor family! Now i don't see what that has to do with her performance and how they're related! And im sure that put a lot of ppl off!

2) Her choice of song wasn't right cos your trying to impress the judges and the audience at this stage, Sunidhi Chauhan is established- she doesnt need to win over ppl! She can choose to sing woteva she likes! But when its your choice to choose a song at such a crucial stage in the competition, you'd expect ppl to choose something half decent! Like how AMEY did! 😊

INDIA HAS PRODUCED GREAT MUSIC IN THE PAST & WE HAVE GREAT SINGERS LIKE ASHAJI, LATAJI ,MAHD RAFI SAAB, R.D. BURMAN KISHORE KUMARETC ETC.THEY R THE MUSIC ICONS.WE STILL REMEMBER THEM WITH LOVEFOR HOW THEY SANG,NOT FOR HOW THEY LOOKED OR FOR THIER MANNERISMS.

SO WHEN INDIANS VOTE ,PLEASE VOTE FOR MUSIC,ONE'S LONG TERM COMMITMENT TO MUSIC, & THE VOICE QUALITY, STABILITY IN THE VOICE.
BUT PLEASE NOT SMALL ISSUES LIKE "CRYING,BEGGING,ENGLISH,CHOICE OF SONG OR SOOO CUTUUUE KIND OF THINGS OR ONLY LOOKS.
IN THAT CASE VERY SOON INDIAN MUSIC WILL BE ONE AMONG MANY BUT NOT ONE ALL BY ITSELF.

hello???! we're talking about "Indian Idol" here!! Everyone has great expectations from the next one! Indian Idol has always been and will always be about the whole package! Yes, the singing ability is most important! But so is having good stage presence, good mannerism, a bubbly personality, able to speak up, good at performing etc. The Indian Idol will majority of the time be on stage and not doing playback singing!

Why do you think Farah Khan is one of the judges! And why are they always going on about the X-factor!

SO when ppl vote... I think they should take into account all these factors! AS WELL AS singing ability.

Yeah ANUJ,DILPRITH,ABHA,JYOTSNA RKSITHIJ are all great singers!!

I loved Abha and Jyotsna's attitude after hearing they didn't get through and how they accepted it with a smile! I have great respect for these guys! And wish em all the best!

Read what i wrote again. no where did i mention looks or anything to do with them coming on top of the list. People are how they are... and if they can't entertain now, there's a fat chance they'll be able to once winning the indian idol title! their personality is likely to remain the same. yeah looks can slightly improve after but i never said they were most important in the first place! but personality surely is important in this competition.

There are quite a few contestants there who I feel fit that category already. For example, Monali is bubbly, full of energy and has excellent voice quality and good understanding of music!
