hey how does this indian idol work is it aired live in india?
wat happened to all the other guys...? amyet and that lot..? they ddnt come back after they were selected on the theatre round..?
am very confused so these three and the three gals wen selected will b the final 6???
i seen the final three picked today at 2200 uk time was the same show aired in india today aswell? is it live in india? please help me am so confused

As Sonu Nigam once pointed out very rightly, the voting system is a subjective system. People vote for reasons other than the quality of singing and performance. They are carried away by various other factors like economic, provincial, religious background of the artistes. This, thus does grave injustice to the talented and deserving artistes. Therefore, I recommend that public voting is confined to the last or the last two rounds only, after the best have been identified and there is only a small difference in talent between the competitors.

But Ravi's selection puts me out.

Sagar is good and deserves the seletion but kshitij exclusion came as a surprise.

Karunya and Sagars selection were expected. But Ravi's selection was very unexpected. Its unfortunate we are unable to see more of Ksitish

my questions to you watching in india (unlike me in u.s) are:
1. How did they break the tie? If there was no tiebreaker (atleast they didnt air any such thing), why didnt they directly pick 3 ppl based on the votes?.
2. why did they even have the top 4 and then eliminate 1 to make 3 to the gala round. I never understood the elimination.
3. Ravi over kshitij or even Sree?? duh!

yeah he does, but somebody's sentiments should not be made fun of. Performing on such a big stage is not even near to easy. He is just 20 and a fun loving guy, and this same attitude of his combined with his singing makes a majority of us like him.

karunya was the best out of the seven its great he got in 4 a second i though he didnt b cuz of the tie but he got the highest amout of votes!!! so happy 4 him hes a great singer!
