thanx a lot for opening this thread dedicated to One of the most finest Singer of Indian history...Mukesh Ji,,,,

I m ardent fan of him.....loved each and every song of his.....esp of its on Raj Kapoor and wrtitten by Shailendra Ji.....

And the most fav is ..from movie Kal aaj aur Kal...
Ek din Bik Jayega Maati Ke Mol...
Jag Me Rah Jayenge Pyaare Tere Bol.....

THE BEST song...and always feasible in the society...........

His Voice is like coming from his heart and reaching to the person who is listening to the song....

Thanks kichwamaji ji for posting the great song videos of Mukesh sahib. By the way this was his last palyback performance of his life for Satyam Shivam Sundaram. In August 1976 he came to USA for his music concerts and I guess it was the city of Chicago where he expired.

I read that during one of these concerts when he sang dil jalta hai to jalne de, the audience gave him a standing ovation, people clapped for seven minutes non stop and promoters had to beg them to stop.

i dint read the whole thread b4 posting the above reply..
and a big thanxxxxxxxxxxxx for every one who posted all the videos of the songs which are so beautifully sung by Mukesh ji and making others mesmerized by there So Deep and true to heart voice....

Kisi Ki Muskurahatho Pe ho nisar is another song which make me feel like this is life to live.....

You are so phunny...These were the same reason I used to sing only Mukesh ji's songs as being female not having any what so ever range I could do pretty good justice to them...😆😳 I used to write b ook with all Mukesh songs with lyrics, MD movie name and yr...I still have one which when I first met my husband I dedicated to him with all my fav songs...I used to love sad romantic songs when I was in HS and college 😲 😆 Than After marriage I got to know Rafisaab in different light along with Shammi kapoor thanks to my hubby...So now I have 2 favs Rafisaab & Mukesh...

BTW Where is my Rafisaab pankha Brahma?? I have not seen him in few wks now and seriously miss him...I read he is studying @ IIT...am sure busy with his studying and exams...If u do communicate pls pass on my love to him...

If you remember in early to mid seventies, Kishore da had some political issues with Sanjay Gandhi who was a president of Youth Congress. Kishore da refused or couldn't perform on one of the programmes which Sanjay had organized, so he banned Kishore da from all India radio and none of his songs were played on the radio for months. We used to listen to Mukeshji and Rafi sahib all the time.

Brahma is very busy since the second week of July with his post graduate study. He doesn't log on to I-F and doesn't reply PMs either as he has made some strict disciplinary rules. I guess he will reply when he comes home during his diwali break. I will convey your regards and love to him.

Nice to know about your passion for Mukesh ji, God willing, we will sit together one day and hear those songs in your voice. May God bless you.
