Why am I not surprised?
I pretty much expected, going by past trends, Shashi or Shivam will be eliminated. After all, we saw the elimination of superior singers like Vishwaas, Meghna and Arpita also didn't we?

So I am used to such shocks..its like this chalta hai attitude...

I am just glad Sreeram is safe. however Shashi getting eliminated is extremely upsetting. I wish judges had saved him. He surely deserved to be in top 3.

Bas bottom 4 Sreeram ki kami thi. then it would have been perfect.

remember last year Prasenjeet, Rajdeep, Shini and Bhavya in bottom 4? Brilliant stuff.

so sad for shashi's elimination... he did not deserve to leave now... he should have stayed for more rounds... :(

Hmm.... I see your point. You're saying that eventually all but one will be eliminated so how does it matter if Tia goes first, or somebody else.

Well it does matter. The more time these singers can spend in the public eye, the better it is for their career. Reality singers who reach the top 5 can usually demand higher prices for their stage shows than those who are eliminated early.

But in Indian Idol, with the introduction of musical mentors every second week, the singers have even more to lose. The contestants who were eliminated before this week lost out on a great opportunity because they weren't able to meet Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy (perhaps the busiest composers in Bollywood after Pritam) or Asha Bhosle. So whereas Shivam, Sreeram and Shashi were able to make an impression on the minds of SEL and Rakesh and Naushad were able to get Ashaji's recommendation, eliminated contestants like Vishwas and Meghna missed out. That's a shame because these golden opportunities are wasted on Tia who always fails to impress.

Tia should NOT go eventually - she should go NOW!

so glad Sreeram is safe, cuz you never know with janta...but shocking that Shashi got eliminated! He is far better than Tia or Bhoomi....and Shivam, Naushad, Swaroop are 3 of the best singers in this season, how can they be in bottom,i dont want anyone of them to go after Shashi...please vote
