Gala 4 Best Performance - Page 4

Hi folks,

Shashi, Bhoomi, Arpita, Tia - I thought all gave average performances. Naushad and Yashraj were below average for me. I liked Sreeram, Rakesh, Swaroop, and Shivam.

Shivam- I'm a little biased with the Jerry mouse I've come to love. I agree, vocals weren't anything to rave about, but I liked the way he opened up on stage today . This was by far his best performance to date. His graph as a singer is increasing ... I wouldn't be surprised if his next few performances were great.

Swaroop- I thought this week was Swaroop's week to shine. Folk songs. This was IT. But for me, Swaroop got lost in the crowd today. Don't get me wrong, he was great - but we've already heard Nimbooda from him before. There was no surprise element today, he did not knock my socks off. I felt like I was watching a repeat performance.

Now Rakesh and Sreeram:

I truly think that they were deserving of Top 2 today. Sreeram was flawless - such elegance, grace, and expression in his voice. It melts my heart. If I were to pick an Idol today, it would be hands down him.

Rakesh surprised me yet again today. What a difficult song choice! On top of that he delivered the song with great passion. Absolutely loved his performance today. If I had any doubts left about Rakesh until today, I think he cleared them all. Sunidhi was right - this was one performance that's hard to forget.

Good review. Only disagree with the Shivam part. I mean he was good but not flawless. No issues. Difference of POV. 😊
