Not happy with the format...

Ok, I am really not happy with the format of these reality shows. They say they want talent, but when they get talent, they just throw it out. 😡 Even though these shows have sponsors and advertisements to make money, they use sms voting. Why? MONEY. I think they got like 10 crore votes for indian idol 4. Thats 10 crore for them. But what about the talent? Vishwas got out today despite the fact that he sang better than Manisha, Tia, Meghna, and Swaroop.

All these judges say is "Bohat bura hua" and next week they are enjoying and during elimination same type of thing again and Anu Malik will say, "Yeh Janta kya kar rahi hai?" I want to ask them, "pehele aap batao aap log kya kar rahe ho?"

If they care so much about the singing talent, then why can't the judges have a veto power in which they can veto audience's voting?

Answer: They can, but won't because its a money making racket.

I totally agree with you! All they're trying to do here is play with janta's emotions and their money!

Absolutely right. In the greed of money they are killing talent. First there was Geetesh and now Vishwas. Indian Idol should have format like Big Boss. Judges should select bottom 3 after the gala and then voting should be done to save these contestants.

That is a great suggestion but than that will change the II format all together....and I dont think that would be acceptable to them!

Manisha was soo bad still Vishwas got eliminated.. can not understand this...

after the 1st Indian idol result all other 3 were horrible , true talent did not got selected.. guess this time wl also samething happens..

Ya nothing that is good for the show will be acceptable to them.

What scares me most is their level of singing ....Amidst all these hooplas I think the quality of singing is deteriorating ...

Unllike other reality shows like Sa re ga ma , VOI etc; Indian Idol has to follow standard internation format. While II might have some take on tweaking the format little bit, unforutanely it cant go ahead with its own format which does not match with international format. I guess we have live up with same old format.

Apparently you haven't been keeping up since the last four seasons ... this ALWAYS happens. And we ALWAYS learn to get over it.

Now, I just expect the BEST singer to get voted out with public voting, that way, when he or she doesn't, I don't feel as bad. Low expectations = less disappointment.
