This is absolutely terrible news. Shocking.. He was one of my favorites and now is getting eliminated. 😭

Vishwas is such an unlucky person. I feel pretty sad for him...hopefully he comes back with wildcard but I have a feeling that there will be some more shocking eliminations.

Ugh. Indian idol 5 all of a sudden is looking to be a crap show. 🤢

I guess this was meant to be... This is the trend of Indian Idol that all good singers are eliminated first... And unforturnately, Vishwas was made the target this time around...

But then again, the competition is tough. All the contestants are good and therefore every week we are bound to be in for a shock...

PS. Don't you think that the entire elimination is scripted in a way... I mean Manisha, Shashi and Vishwas were all selected by the audience to be in the top 12 and it is these 3 contestants who are in the bottom 3... Isn't it kind of wierd if we compare it with the voting when the top 12 was selected...???

Shameful...

With people like Swaroop, Meghna, Tia and Yashraj, other contestants have to do a LOT to get noticed by the audience.

And this time round, I'm not going to blame the judges at all. Nor the format. It is totally the audience's fault! The public voting is completely wrong. I would have been dejected if any of the bottom three (Manisha, Shashi, Vishwas) were ousted.

The producers have tried every trick to make good singers win. But the public has failed them....

Doesnt seem scripted to me... Why would they script the elimination of one of their best singers? If I had to script someone's elimination, I would kick Rakesh out...

Vishwas got eliminated? He sang the Chak De song pretty well and the judges were impressed but haven't heard him sing any other song so can't say how good he is. I guess the audience didn't like him much...

@xobile.....I think II elimination always depends on how viewers' vote ....unfortunately those of us posting here don't vote or don't have right to vote ....

And I have noticed with II..... it's always either cute/hot factor, regional factor and over all personality factor that take precedence over singing...

and 1ST gala elimination is mostly a shocker ..e.g Ananya last year....Moreover , Channel already showed Vishwas as married and he is 29 years old ...With Suhit and Ankita garnering huge votes in II3....and Shini( she was married) being out in II4 in initial rounds, I think it takes time for viewers to realise that "achhe chunenge toh achhe sunenge"...sometimes it's too late to rectify ...hence we get stuck with winners like Prashant and Sandeep( mostly due to regionalism)....

Only consolation with this outcome....If there is lot of hue and cry over Vishwas's elimination ..his chance of getting entry through WC is maximum....

Vishwas was never given enough screen time in the first place...we never saw him in auditions, nor when he sang in jodis or had the ultimate test with judges

this SUCKS! cant the judges veto???

I dont see a wild card entry happing for him either just because he had a much less screen time as compared to the others

^^ I think there should be a new voting procedure. Ever since really good people starting getting kicked off in favour of worse contestants, I thought about how this could be avoided and the first thing that came to my mind was negative voting.

The public should vote for who should NOT go to the next round. Of course, such a voting system has a lot of problems of presentation attached to it. But ultimately, it is more likely than the current system to remove bad singers.

And u think viewers will stop voting "who they don't want to go to the next round " in order to support who they want to see???😆....Don't underestimate the viewers who would go to any length to see that their favs are going to the next round...reverse votes hi sahi 😆
