he truly deserved it.like anu mallik in the end said we look into all thes in a singer when choosing performance of the week award-range,being in total sur ,feel and diction.so in that case he was way superior to naushad and arpita though their songs are difficult.

Shivam was the best in previous day. So Judges forgot about him. Top 3 should have been Sreeram, Shivam and Arpita Khan.

I was sooo happy with the Performer of the Week! Sreeram's rendition was challenging, surila, well emoted, well pronounced and very playbacky! He had to bring in many angs of singing to that sung - more, I would argue than Arpita...

Sreeram gave the most matured performance, like a true playback singer. He definitely deserved to be the best performer.

I don't understand one thing, if Sreeram is such a great singer and already a playback singer in South, Why is he on Indian Idol? I mean, what motivated him to go on a Reality Show?

paheli - sreeram wanted to make his way into the bollywood singing stream.....i heard from people that sreeram is actually a very well known singer back home, i think making it in bollywood is a bigger frame for him...
