Redemption act for II-4!!!

With this season having at least 2 undeserved singers (kapil and remo) there are only two ways that II-4 can minimize the damage that has already been done!!!!

1) Rajdeep wins Indian Idol 4 regardless of who made it to the top 3 with him
2) Rajdeep, Sourabhee and Torsha make it to the top three and anyone of them wins Indian Idol 4

Do you agree or are there some other options as well?

This was the first statement said by Hussain in yesterdays episode.
And with what had happened with earlier Idol Winners (esp Sandeep, Prashant) I cud not help but laugh pathetically on the statement.

How desperately are the anchors trying to maintain the attention of viewers..
But buddy, however Optimistically u think-out for things to get better, simply there is NO HOPE with the show and the standard of singers!!

Its bitter but this is the truth. I have seen so many of the reality shows but unfairness has only happened in Indian idol, and this trend will continue this year too undoudtedly. I don't have my hopes high because I know the result will be soo predictable.

perhaps, but that is asking too much.. i have lost all hope with Prasenjit's elimination.. there is NO redemption for the show, none whatsoever.. but perhaps, later on, if Rajdeep wins, maybe someone can at least MENTION that he came from II4.. otherwise, this show will be forgotton as soon as the last episode is telecasted..

i too have lost all hope.........but i wish that this time atleast a deserving person wins.......and out of all the remaining Rajdeep is the only one who deserves it.....

very well said.. Rajdeep is the ONLY and ONLY deserving person.. but i don't have my hopes up too high.. i do not want to be in for a major disappointment again.. at least i won't feel all that bad..

Well there are two things!!

1) The motif of the show is to promote talent so that the winner makes it big in the music industry. That doesn't happen and will not happen. So from that point of view this show is an obvious failure!!

2) If you just want to listen to a few good singers on a weekend from the point of view of entertainment only then you restrict your thinking to the entertainment value only. My post is in this context. Granted that a Prasenjeet vs Rajdeep final would have been ideal I still believe that a Rajdeep vs Torsha or Rajdeep vs Sourabhee final would be better than Amit Paul vs Prashant or Karunya vs Sandeep. The elimination of Remo has resulted in a bit of interest coming back to the show. If Kapil goes then the show would have salvaged a little bit of pride by giving us a good final ... something that has not happened since season 1

^^ yes, i have to agree on number 2... i was so happy with the spoiler news.. so in that terms, i guess you are right.. and i think Karuna was really brilliant.. fact he lost out to Sandeep, obvious reasons.. but yes, at lesat it would be better to have Torsha or Sourabhee in final 2 with Rajdeep as compared to someone else.. let's hope for the best for next week..

although, i am still bummed about Prasenjit's elimination.. i really thought that he would not only go to top 2 but eventually win even.. my faith in II has really been shaken this season..
