Today Theatre round starts and we have Hussein back and video of contestants are shown dancing during auditions in different cities with the song dol dol ra mapey from Yuva , hussien talks in background saying we had auditions in 16 cities, also judges fought among themselves and finally they chose hundred and some contestants and they reached Mumbai for theatre round. Theatre round will be hard, in three days the judges have to decide from ek so sathavan to attavan.(sry I am not good in hindi numbers)
Contestants are shown coming in train, Airplane and shown then taken to JW Marriott. Contestants say they are nervous and excited''Roommates meet and singing and form friends and some misunderstanding coz od lens b/w 2 girls etc'
Next Morning all contestants are shown leaving to theatre round in bus to National centre of Performing Arts. And Hussain is shown standing b/w contestants 'Namste India, I am back only 28 will be chosen but they will the best '.
Let us start The theatre round on Indian Idol 4.
Sonali congratulates everyone for making it so far.
KKji says 'do your best don't make any mistakes you wont be given a second chance'
Annuji says ' did you recognize Annu malik If u don't sing well u wont get to move ahead don't be nervous sing well and advance to next level'
Javed ji 'competition is b/w good singers so sing well, even a small mistake will get u eliminated, coz from all of you 100 will be out so sing well all the best'
Contestants enter the stage to perform in batches of 10.
First batch is shown Anuji asks a guy to come forward and start singing
Mohit lalwani - Delhi sings 'Kabhi kabhi aditi'
Kuldeep singh ' Lucknow sings 'rang bi rangi rang rangeli ladki chel chabeli'
Ananya Mishra ' Varnasi sings 'thore bina jiya chahe nah'
Sunakshi ' Delhi sings 'Kwab dekhe jute mute'
Hussein is talking in background 'how much hardship contestants are facing Judges are facing the same to choose and eliminate and not to make any mistakes in their judgements' nervous faces of the judges are shown also of another batch singing in fast forwardthen Judges and showen doing the selection.
Hussein announces it is time for judgement and batch of 10 contestants are inside and
KK Ji calls Meenakshi and tells uare OUT
Javed ji announces Bhavya patel is IN she is excited and says thankyou.
Annuji says 'Sanjeev, parashay joshi ' IN
Sonali announces Pranab shrivashtav, rajdeep chatterji , remo hosh are selected
And some other contestants are shown saying thankyou.
And Hussein says the talent was so good the judges had to go back on their decision and choose 76 in place of 46.
Javed ji Says I cant say congratulations 76 times so I will say congratulations to the power of 76
And Sonali says we have divided you all into trios and pairs for the next round one by one each team is formed and mostly all are happy with their partners and due to lack of time contestants start practicing in bus itself and back in hotel to they keep practicing some contestants are shown looking for their partners and knocking on doors, finally everyone finds their partners. Romo's partner tell him to practice himself etc' next day everyone is nervous going to the NCPA some sleepy some tired some nervous some excited.
Hussein ' Welcome everyone to second day of theatre round today contestants have to sing with partners they jut met and on top they have to sing with track'
Bhanu is shown looking for his parners
Hussein talks to the first pair going in they are excited and nervous he calls them opening batsman
Purnima and Mohit sing ' Gori gori gori gori'.chori chori chori'.' From main hoon na they dance too while singing. Judges says we will let you know
Tanushree and Ali Hassan sing the same song first Ali forget lyrics and then Tanushree forgets lyrics
Hussein talks in background saying Has this mistake cost Tanushree and Ali the chance to move ahead. Then ali apologizes Kailashji says we have heard you we will let you know.
They come out Tanushree crying and there is some argument between them , Banu is still looking for his parners . Jankee and Lakshmi and practicing
Jankee and Lakshmi sing ' yeh ishq hai ' one of them forgets but the other covers up then they start explaining in the end and Kailash ji says we will let you know.
Jasraj and Ananya Sing 'gori gori '.' Again the girl forgets lyrics then she explains that she didn't want to sing this songetc'Judges tell them bye.. outside Ananya is sad she forgot the lyrics. Hussein and Jasraj console her saying so many before them have forgot lyrics and not to worry.
Finally Banu find his partners in washroom
Torsha, Banupradap and Pallavi sing 'dekho dekho yeh sham badi deewani' annuji says ok bye bye
Banu is mad that these two sang below tempo '..
Hussein says' this year the bar is high because in last 3 idols the contestants sang to track only in gala round, but this time theatre round itself and if they forgoet lyrics or lose some hwere they wont be able to catch up because track keeps moving'
Next three contestants are shown arguing
Avinash,Rajdeep and Sandeep sing ' Sandeshe aate hein ' (they sand well) annuji says go now song is over
Ok next comes the cute Jodi chota packet as the guy said
Ritika and Remo sing ' pehla nasha' the boy twirls the girl and Javed ji had this huge smile in his face
Other pairs singing the same song is shown and contestants are waiting for results and some have started complaining that their partners forgot lyrics etc'
Results time
Tanushree and Ali Hassan Ali IN Tanushree OUT Ali comes out jumping and Tanushree is crying on the way
Lakshmi and Jankee both OUT Lakshmi wants to meet Kailashji presonally so he walks to the stage to meet her
Jasraj and Ananya both IN
Next two are IN
Avinash, Rajdeep and Sandeep all three IN
Many others are shown selected Ritika and Remo anre selected too
Selected contestants are shown dancing and jumping with Deewangi song in back ground
Video of Banu rejected from last year Indian Idol is shown ' now results for this year.
BanuPradap, Pallavi, Torsha banu is not selected and Annuji gives him advice to have a backup Career, not jus t concentrate on singing. Then Javedji tells the story about the spider trying again and again finally succeeding then Annuji asks him to sing again he sings a good song everyone is moved.Annuji gets up and claps for him And annuji tells him you are selected and he sits down crying Annuji goes to the stage and consoles him
