Even though I hate this Anu Malik and his "know-it-all" attitude, I must admit, without him and his attitude and his shero-shayri and his comments, the show wud be dull 😆.

I hate it when he shows that he is a great musician😆...he can't sing to save his life😆 and copying is his "brand of music"😆

It is no secret that when mentors are selected it is made sure that they have diff taste and personality traits, this ensures heated debates, diff opinions and that improves TRP amd viewership. Most of the people are here for an evening full of entertainment and not many are bothered how it comes.

Anu Malik a mere plagiarist or a persistent warrior is more serious question. While in 90s he blatantly plagiarised he gave some meaningful music in border : sandese aate hai, Refugee: taal pe jab ye zindagani (raag darbari) and many others, IMHO he can't bw written off just like that, he does have some metal. I think more than his composing prowess and ability to judge ( I swear if he does proper riyaz and trains his ear he won't be able to listen to his renditions) he is there more for his blunt comments, attitude and know it all outlook, no wonder you pit a person like Alka (who herself has big ego) and you have all ingredients to put water on fire.

I hope we will have some good singing and over all entertainment.
