How do people who have spent their lives trying to become singers forget lyrics? Especially because we have seen in promo pics that there is a teleprompter behind the judges seats. Of course, teleprompter is not relevant for Menuka, but I mentioned that point because I read a post that several singers forget the lyrics.

Does this really happen? Is it because of the pressure?

I think Shubhadeep forgetting lyrics was just drama as mention by everyone here. I don’t think anyone forget lyrics beside him so far in the show and even if he forget this is not the first time in history contestants forgetting lyrics. This has happened in past seasons too. Also I I don’t think Menuka forget lyrics but I think it was to do with her health issue.

Piyush, Utkarsh , Ananya for sure. I am adding Shubhdeep too.
The 5 th could be Menuka - though I don’t find her versatile, she will mostly make it through votes.
Vaibhav is showing good growth - I enjoy his performances, but don’t think he will reach the top 5.

They might do top 6 too like last two season and if they do that I hope they don’t do like 3 girls and 3 boys it should be like who deserves it girls ho ya boys.

So that was drama too because I thought he really forget lyrics and I was surprise that he forget lyrics.

The point is, Menuka’s health issue or shubdeep forgetting lyrics could be genuine, but airing it is for TRP & drama. This time I suspect it was to show them in the bottom rung. It has happened in previous seasons too when they want to protect someone - but who were they trying to save?

Not really sure who they were trying to save. Yes they shouldn’t have air that and if they have retake especially in Menuka’s case what’s the point of showing.

That was so blatant. Sayli had a live mic! Which never happens.

Alright I wasn’t into mood to write anything last Sunday because of elimination but I guess we can’t do anything. Channel will do the thing that will make them profit. I know it’s a good platform for singers to established their career in music but we can’t forget that it’s a business for channel and they will do thing that will be good for them. Anyways coming to the performances for me It was Utkarsh, Dipan and Piyush being the best in Sunday episode. Muskaan was good and Adya and Menuka were fine.

I guess you, Kyahikahoon and I have the same choice for top 3 in that order but we might have different choice for last two or three if they decided to do top six finalist.
