So watched the Saturday episode and I like Vaibhav like some of the forum members I was suprised too didn’t expect that from him at all. Next would be Menuka as usual she was good Anjana like Raina I am not fan of Smp singing but Anjana did pretty well over here other were good too but I like this performance the most.

Also that clip I posted about Shreya commenting I thought that was for Gayetri may be she overdid but after watching the episode I got to know she was sharing her experience of sun raha hai na tu. I usually skip judges comments but since we have Shreya and Kumar Sanu as a judge this year so I thought why not watch the comment too and thought they would do better feedback but I am not finding that. So I would love to hear constructive feedback like old days. I am tired of hearing just fantastic mind blowing and amazing. I really hope in coming days we get to hear from judges what they actually think about performance without being biased. Like what was better and what can be improve etc.

Obom and Adya sang beautifully.

Utkarsh was good but it wasn’t his best performance today.

Star performers today in my opinion were Ananya, Shubhadeep and Piyush. Their performances were soulful and melodious.

Maithili is my least favourite contestants and I feel she is overrated and gets way too much importance than she deserves.

4th & 5th Nov Performance Review:

Saturday-

Vaibhav really surprised me. He sang so well. I thoroughly enjoyed his performance.

Menuka was as usual… soulful performance.

Also, I loved Mahima’s performance very much.

Surender was good.

Anjana - I used to love her but now she is stereotyping herself.

Gayathry, Dipan and Muskaan - I personally didn’t find anything great in their singing. They were okay.

Sunday-

Obom and Adya sang beautifully.

Utkarsh was good but it wasn’t his best performance today.

Star performers today in my opinion were Ananya, Shubhadeep and Piyush. Their performances were soulful and melodious.

Maithili is my least favourite contestants and I feel she is overrated and gets way too much importance than she deserves.

Couldn’t agree with you more beside Utkarsh and Maithli I think everyone did good theirs was weakest performance of the night. Is it just me that Utkarsh sounded like he was having cold. If it’s then I hope he is better by now because I think what they will do is just like last season whoever is in bottom 2 in coming weekend and from that whoever gets more vote will be safe. He did really well in first three performances so hopefully he does better next week. Like you said he was good but couldn’t feel like his last performances.

Ananya was growing on me I think she deserved that lyrics that Mithoon have it to her.

The guy who sang Jiya Dhadak Dhadak was a standout to me in the Saturday episode! Everyone else did great but not as good as the grih leaves h episodes! Waiting to see Sunday episode

Yesterdays episode in my opinion had better singing than today. I wish all contestants can sing on both days (I know the episode would be too long, but one can always wish).

Obom - Dil Sambhal ja zara - it was an average performance at best. I do feel he’ll have to work on pronunciation. The beginning of the song I thought his pronunciation wasn’t great. I enjoyed the song, it suited his voice, but in a competition I won’t call it a good performance.

Adya - Woh lamhein. I didn’t enjoy it. She has a different voice, her voice should’ve done justice to this song, but it didn’t work for me. I think she should sing Richa Chadha kind of songs, they’d suit her. But then again I haven’t seen any of her other performances. It was below average for me.

Utkarsh - I was excited to hear him sing Tum Hi ho. 2-3 season ago Revanth sang this song, and he was so good that it’s become a benchmark for me to judge this song. Although Utkarsh sang very well, it didn’t reach that level for me personally. Without comparing I think it was a good performance. His second performance was dil ka dariya and it was a good performance. Overall he was good.

Shubhadeep- tose naina lage and juda hoke bhi. He was good in both the songs. I think he’ll go far in the show. Only because I’m nitpicking for faults, I wish he’d enunciate words more clearly, especially in the first song. But he was fantastic.

Ananya - main phir bhi tumko chahungi. She hit it out of the park. I’ve become a fan after only one performance. Her high notes were amazing. I can’t find any faults; even if I try hard. Dare I say I didn’t miss the original composition at all.

Maithili - Sanam re and tere bin. Sanam re was such a let down. I’m surprised they selected her (judging basis this song). Tere bin was a little better, but hers was the worst performance of the day.

Piyush - is dard e dil Ki sifaarish and maula mere. I haven’t heard the first song before, so I can’t judge compared to the original. It seemed fine. Absolutely loved his rendition of maula mere. Roopkumar Rathod always has this rustic feel to his voice which you could feel in Piyushs voice. Not many would be able to do justice to this song, but Piyush was amazing. Second best performance of today for me (Ananya was first).

Hey it’s good to read your view again. I don’t know know if you watch grand premier or not but if you have would love to read what you though about last week performances.

I didn’t. Infact this is the first week I’ve actually watched properly. Previously I watched maybe one performance but that’s about it.

Hoping I can continue to watch the remaining episodes.

Well we are here and I did see your one post during theatre round and I thought I would see you in premier episode discussion thread but didn’t see you. Also thought you might be busy since it’s a festival season. Same here so far I am liking it hopefully it will continue like this without having much drama and we don’t get boring performances from contestants.
