I too haven't watched the episode yet.

Great episode. I thought it will be boring with the same theme and same guest but it was really good.

Bidipta was good.

Loved Dilbar Mere by Rishi.

Chirag's 2nd song was better.

Anushka was just brilliant. What a performance. Loving her.

Pritam forgot the lyrics and it looked genuine to me. Not sure.

Top 2 performances for me were Sonakshi & Debosmita. If I have to pick one I will go with Sonakshi. For me it was her best performance in Indian Idol so far.

And Amit Kumar, such a fine singer and an entertaining person too.

Diwali festivities continued for me this weekend. Couldn't watch TV 🙂

29th Oct Kishore Kumar special

Bidipta :- Panna Ki Tamanna was v good. Pardesia although technically good, didn’t suit her voice much. But overall enjoyed her performance. She is showing good improvement.

Anushka :- Pag Ghungroo, as pointed out by Amit Kumar, is a tough male song. Anushka did a v good job. A true performer. An enjoyable act.

Chirag :- Anamika song could’ve been better; I thought he dragged the lines a bit to get the feel, a bit overkill for me. Bade ache was v good.

Debo :- Ye vaada raha & Tere mere milan. Excellent rendition of both. Easily one of her bests 👍. Roz Roz as a duet with Amit also was superb.

Rishi :- Julie & Dilbar mere. Amit pointed it out correctly about the first song. Somehow , it didn’t connect with me. He was overall good, but we have heard him sing better.

Sonakshi :- Yaad Aa rahi hai & Tum aa gaye ho. Superb renditions. 👌. Esp the second one. One of her bests in this season.

Pritam :- Even before the lyrics mishap, he was not upto the mark. He even went offtune a bit. To top it forgetting the lyrics - altogether bad day for him. Looks like he will be out tomorrow.

Overall an enjoyable episode.
Asides …

* I had wondered how difficult it will be for Amit to praise everyone, but they all sang well today, making his job easier. 😊

* The girls rocked - Debo & Sona followed by Bidipta & Anushka.

* Pritam’s lyrics fiasco with Chirag springing to his aid , for a change, appeared genuine , If at all it is scripted , then TCT has learned to do it properly now after PD/ Sayli’s botched up attempt in the last season 😁

* Amit Kumar makes for an interesting guest - this repeat can’t pale since the topic of anecdotes is the colorful legend Kishore Kumar.👍.

* What can’t be cured has to be endured…. Yes, you guessed it right, Neha’s navras close-ups every minute. Very soon she will make me miss Sayli Cam 🙄🤣

* The antakshari of Kishoreda’s songs started well with Amit, but as expected got butchered by neha & even HR. Vishal wisely stayed away. It was surprisingly & thankfully short ( or the editor maybe couldn’t bear the nainsaafi done to the legend 🤣),

* It was Debo’s day. The humming interludes in Julie with Rishi was awesome - she overshadowed him in that song.

And finally….Bach gaya Pag Ghungroo, 🙏😁Bappida will Rest In Peace… Nehu dear has not tried this song… yet… Bhagwan aisi hi buddhi dete rahe isko.🙏

Welcome back Amit Kumar. It's nice they broughout you back even after your candid interpretation of the contestant's performances last year. Anyways.

. Bidipta was ok as usual. Her singing has never risen to above average during her stay in Indian Idol so far. I also found her singing today just ok.

. Anushka hands down stole the entire show today. Looks like getting rid of the glasses has caused a tremendous change in her performances. I thoroughly enjoyed her performance today. Easily her best performance of the season.

. Chirag's 1st song was not very good but his rendition of Bade Ache Lagte Hai was sweet. Again Chirag will continue to stay around due to his developing storyline with Kavya. Otherwise not much of a special performance overall.

. Deboshmita still is hands down the best female singer in the competition. No one can deny that. I sincerely hope she makes a run to the finale. I love listening to her voice every episode. That 2nd song was so emotional and heart-wrenching.

. Rishi was decent today not the usual standard he sets. Deboshimta's singing was clearly overshadowing his singing in the first song. Dilbar mere was also decent.

. Sonakshi was incredible today. Wow the girls really brought it today. Easily her best performance of the season as well. Tum Agaya Ho gave me goosebumps. Here's hoping for more such good performances from Sonakshi. A very well deserved MBD.

. Oh how the mighty have fallen! Pritam started off as my underdog for this show but today's performance basically dug his grave. Forgetting the lyrics and even before forgetting the antara he wasn't singing very well. He has been last in the last two episodes to sing and has given below average performances. I honestly thought Rupam or Chirag would get the boot next but it looks like Pritam will be next to go. I really liked his singing honestly when he started but the last two weeks have been lukewarm. Man I feel bad for him.

Anushka, Deboshmita, and Sonakshi really impressed me today. Pritam's on stage meltdown was good TV but I genuinely feel bad for him. I really like his singing overall and this is not how I imagined him going out.

Anushka, devo and sonakshi are singing well since last week.

Rishi is not impressing me much anymore. I think he is only good in some styles.

For me Sonakshi and Debosmita rocked the stage today. They both are favorites of mine.

Specially Sonakshi, finally getting in her groove.

Bidipta and Anushka, good effort.

All the girls, seem like stepping it up a notch.👍🏼

Finally an episode worth watching. Amit Kumar, a class by himself.
