I think they can't play with votes even though it's not transparent. Someone on this forum said some time back votes get audited every year. Sawai's elimination proves that as well. They had to play with judges scores and bring PD down. Other than PD if there is any other contestant in bottom 2 Sawai would have got saved.

I tend to agree. If true, and I have my doubts now, I can only think that Sayli was not doing well on votes and all the perceived favouritism and importance (against which people cribbed) may have been to save her and was not to threaten the top positions. While I feel that favouritism for business benefits every participant, favoritism to protect someone from elimination is unfair to another.

I can understand Aru/PD time slots and screen time if that is what is getting viewers. That lets the show run for over 70 weeks, gets music videos, tons of clothes (participants keep all outfits and are seen in international/local shows wearing them), Manish Malhotra's, months of exposure etc etc. Top 5/6 should also get good cash this year.

But I don't understand the need to shove talent down the audience's throat by asking for votes and pretending that they are one step away from glory. If Sayli really is in the bottom then Sony is to blame. They could have said that she is in the bottom (using judges) - please save her. Does not always work. Did not work with Kunal and Vishal in IL 10. But a better strategy I feel.

But let's see. She may be bottom but the show is still live. There may be strategy to save her which the article writer does not know about. Or it could all be hot air and something totally different will happen.

If elimination is really leaked before the episode is even shot, then it is unfair to the participant.

She would not be able to perform to full potential in the episode thinking of elimination.

Media folks need to have some consideration and ethics before publishing news

i am not a teeny bopper who is going to go & around follow any one. It took me years to come back to IF TO even post about any one.

In past 25 years “been that, done that” for me. Nothing new 😊 Followed Few for the longest time. C2005 & C2007 taught me not to fall for what stupid channel & show does. They have no rules. They make them as they go along. Sayli is deserving of a spot in Finale.

At this point its moot point to write who should be out or not worthy of the spot. Keep watching. Winning doesn’t mean a guaranteed success.

I have my top 4 in mind & if one of the other 2 wins it wouldn’t matter to me. Be happy for them.

These results are based on their reader's votes. Let's wait till Sunday (if there is any elimination) or on 15th august for final results.

In the past this same site have given headlines that SMP was eliminated but that week there was no elimination. Then it either SMP or Danish. One again no elimination that weekend.
