I remember I was so worried that arunita will not be selected in the top 12 during the audition.

There was no promo of her final audition performance anywhere and she was not invited to India's best dancer show and Kapil Sharma show.

Honestly the strong contenders for winning are arunita and pawandeep..both of them are far ahead in popularity as compared to others.

I want Arunita to win and get great apportunity in singing outside the show. Would really love to see cover songs with instruments or music album

but then i saw they all are really good friends and these things aren't affecting them too much. Hope they have learnt how to live in this industry.

I know nilanjana is a good singer.. I don't know how channel was treating her or something as i haven't followed her season...but Arunita doesn't need any extra activities by channel to get into audience mind...her singing is enough to make her place in audience mind and that happened. because channel had some fixed favourites in their mind in the beginning and Arunita wasn't one of them. She made her importance by herself... after that channel has started using her.

I am not really sure. Channel and Creative Team do a lot of homework about contestants. They were pretty aware of her capabilities - it is their job! How they set up a contestant is their plan. A lot may go into it that we are unaware of.
There are usually 2 key signs that signify a contestants importance prior to gala Round.
1. Background video
2. Golden mike in the Theatre Round
Arunita got both. Plus she has the most attention from the dress design team.
So, this could a slowly unfurling a contender strategy rather than finding a piece of gold by accident. We will know for sure in the days ahead :)
