Gp asks chandni what was it that she had to say about Tara. Chandni says nothing to which Adi accuses her of blaming Tara to hide her faults. Adi says he now thinks that even chandni did not want Dillu to get married. Tara tells Adi not to quarrel with chandni and that she will go away from that house. Adi stops her and says its Chandni who should leave the house. Adi and Gp go from there and Tara taunts Chandni asking her when is she leaving from there.
Chandni is shocked, goes to her room and cries. She gets a call from Mini, who explains that she did only what Tara asked her to do. She says if Tara has been exposed, then Shekar would never accept her. She pleads with Chandni not to say anything to anyone.
Gp is sitting in dark room when Chandni comes there and explains the reason for her silence. Gp doesn't react, Chandni seeks his blessings and realizes that Gp is unconscious.
Hospital Scene: Gp is taken into a ward. Adi shouts at Chandni asking her what did she tell Gp. Chandni is crying while Adi looks at accusingly. Shanty and Tara rush there and inquire about Gp. Adi does not answer so Shanty goes to talk to the doctors. Adi tells Tara that his Gp is everything to him and without Gp he'll be left all alone in this world. Chandni is about to reach out for him when he hugs Tara and cries. Chandni walks away from there.
She goes to Mata rani's idol in the corridor and says why is she being punished for no fault of hers. Is it because she's a woman, she came here to find Minididi or because she loves Adi? Tara comes there and says "No Chandni, you're being punished only because Adi loves you very much and I don't want him to. As Adi's love for you lessens, so will your punishment. You know chandni, I used to love Adi very much and we were supposed to get married. But only because of you, he left me at the mandap. Can you imagine how I felt then? Now I want you to suffer when he leaves you and I'll make sure of that."
Gp regains consciousness and asks for Chandni. Adi says she's gone but chandni's standing in the doorway, behind Adi and Gp beckons her in. Shanty takes Adi out and chandni goes near Gp. She cries but Gp consoles her saying he has faith in her. Outside the room, Shanty asks Adi how could he accuse Chandni of having an affair with someone. Adi snaps that he is sure that she and Dillu are having an affair, and now he has left her. Chandni's bauji hears all this and is shocked. (I missed last few minutes here)
