Karishma's sitara on the ascendant

Karishma Randeva

Karishma Randeva (the former Sonu of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii) is free from SabSony's daily, Maahi Ve. Karishma now joins Shrishti Arya's India Calling, on Star One.

Maahi Ve is coming to an end and Randeva has already shot her last scene for the serial. Says an insider, "The show started with a lot of promise, in December. But things did not go as per plan."

Said Randeva, who played Preeto in Mahi Ve, "Producer Binaifer Kohli was sweet enough to inform me that the show was coming to an end in May. She told me in April, and even added that I could start looking for roles elsewhere."

What's her role in India Calling? "I will play Tara, a new character— very urbane and positive. Soon, my character will share some chemistry with Adi (played by Vipul Gupta). I have already started shooting for India Calling," she added.

Producer Shrishti Arya offered, "Karishma looks very fresh and good. I have seen her in Hello Dollie and Maahi Ve, and she's simply fantastic.
Actually, I had been talking to her since some time, but she was busy with Mahi Ve."

"To begin with, I will be giving about 20 to 25 days in a month to India Calling. Later, I will shoot only for 15 days. That would leave a window for me to take up another show if I want," Randeva signed off.

Thank you. Does this mean that we have a love quadrangle here? 😕 I am not sure I like that very much. 😕 I will be consoled if Adi and Chand are married by that time.What does this exactrly mean "Soon, my character will share some chemistry with Adi (played by Vipul Gupta)." 😕
