Start of episode
Beeji and Chandini run up to Manisha and Beeji enfolds Manisha in her arms. A happy reunion follows. Manisha and Chandini hug each other tightly and then both girls hug Beeji. Just then the horn blasts and Manisha snaps back to the present. Alas, all this happy reunion was a dream and poor Manisha is sitting in the taxi looking at Beeji hugging Chandini. She says that how I wish that even you could hug me like that Beeji and bursts into tears.
At IC, Chandini asks Adi whether Vishesh has come back and tells him that she wants to meet him. Adi asks her what the matter is and Chandini says that she will tell only Vishesh. Adi blocks her path and tells her that unless she tells him the reason, he won't allow her to meet Vishesh. Chandini teasingly tells him that she didn't know that Vishesh had changed his secretary and offers him congratulations on his new post! She goes from there leaving a stunned Adi gaping after her.
Chandini is sitting at her desk when Amy shows her the new cellphone which she bought and gives Chandini another phone telling her it is a gift from her. Chandini tells Amy that she can't accept such an expensive gift, but Amy insists and finally Chandini has to give in. Just then Vishesh comes to the hub along with Adi and tells everybody that he has got a new project from Singapore. He shows them a handheld music player and says that Iit is the latest gadget to have hit the Indian markets and that it is their job is to sell them to the clients. He says that everyone will be getting one for themselves so that they can study the product, but they have to hand it back to Adi at the end of the shift. He warns them however to be careful about it as the cost of each player is worth Rs. 25,000. Everyone raises their eyebrows at this and Adi entrusts Chandini the responsibility of collecting all the players at the end of the shift and giving it to him.
Chandini knocks on the door of Vishesh's cabin and requests entry. Vishesh asks her to come inside and enquires Chandini whether her Beeji came back home. Chandini places a dibba on his desk and tells him that Beeji is fine and she has sent you her blessings and this dibba of Aloo parathas. Vishesh looks puzzled and tells Chandini that he didn't do anything at all. A surprised Chandini asks him that weren't you the one to phone the DCP. Vishesh tells her that he wished he was the one who helped, but the senior inspector whom he knew didn't pick up the phone up the phone at all and therefore he was unable to contact him. Chandini is left standing surprised.
Back in the chawl, Beeji is also surprised that Vishesh wasn't the one to help them. Chandini tells her that this city is definitely ajeeb and wonders as to who helped them out. Beeji is thinking of something and then tells Chandini that whoever it is, she prays to God to keep them happy always. Seeing Chandini's tired expression she asks her to go and freshen up. When Chandini leaves the room, Mukund comes in and hands Beeji Manisha's payal telling her that he and Chandini were planning to sell it to collect money, but now there is no use of it now. When he leaves, Beeji looks at the payal and thinks to herself that why she has a feeling that she knows the person who is helping them.
Manisha is speaking to someone called AJ ( whose face is not yet revealed ) and it is obvious she dislikes him. AJ tells her that after all in the end, she had to come to him only for help. He tosses the wad of money which she had stolen from Akshay on the table. Manisha is surprised to see the money and asks him whether he didn't require the money to pay rishwath to the police? AJ tells her there was no need for the money and his one phonecall was enough. He tells her this is the proof of the power of his name and reach. Manisha tells him, how can I forget? She tells him only a person like him can do such a thing, a person who has no morals and who doesn't care at all about other people's feelings. AJ reminds her that it is he who is always there to help her out, but Manisha retorts there is no need to show his ehsaan towards her as she has also done so much for him, so much. She puts the money in her purse and leaves from there.
Chandini is searching for something in the chawl when Beeji comes and asks her what she is looking for. Chandini tells her that she can't find her diary anywhere. Just then Beeji spots the cellphone ( Amy's gift to Chandini ) on the table and asks her where it came from. Chandini tells her that Amy gifted it to her. Beeji asks Chandini as to why she accepted such an expensive gift and Chandini tells her that you know how stubborn Amy is. Chandini then shows Beeji the new player that she has to sell these new players and their cost is Rs. 25,000. Beeji is shocked at the price and tells Chandini that she has to return Amy's gift back today itself. Chandini tells her ok and continues searching. Beeji says that where will her diary disappear in this matchbox like room and tells her in the chakkar of looking, she is unable to find her spectacles. Just then Chandini spots the specks and gives it to Beeji. She says that she will search for the diary later as she is already getting late for work. She kisses Beeji on the cheek and tells her that she will return the cellphone to Amy. When she leaves, Beeji goes to the bed and takes out the diary from under the mattress. She goes through the list of phone numbers till she comes to Sheeba's number.
Loweena is applying makeup and tells Manisha ( who is smoking a cigarette ) that ultimately you had to get help from AJ. She asks Manisha, what was the name of your sister again? Manisha says Chandini. Loweena asks Manisha if she is not worried that Chandini will find out about the phonecall and about AJ. Manisha looks scared for a moment, but replies that Chandini will never guess that her Mini didi will do such a thing. Loweena thinks for a moment with a puzzled expression on her face and says slowly to herself, Mini didi, Manisha, Ruby! She tells Manisha whether she has any money as they have a long list of people since morning to whom they have to pay money – the landlord, bania, dhobi. Manisha tells her she doesn't have any money and where will she get it from. Loweena says there is no money left for drugs and then asks Manisha if she can borrow her lipstick as the one she has doesn't match her dress. Manisha asks her to take it from her purse. Loweena searches the purse and discovers the wad of money. She is shocked and questions Manisha as to how she got so much money. Manisha jumps from her seat and comes up to Loweena and warns her not to touch the money as she has to return it to Akshay. Just then Akshay comes in and asks the two whether they have seen his money which he had kept for his brother Ankur's examination fees. Manisha hands over the money back to him, telling him sorry that she took it. Loweena snatches it from her hand and tells Akshay that Manisha may be foolish, but she certainly isn't. Looking at the money with a longing expression, she asks the two that do you know this Rs. 50,000 can help us to get so much more maal. Akshay takes the money from her and tells her that this money is for something much more important, not for drug addicts like them. Loweena exasperatedly tells she is going out to arrange for some money, as Manisha has now stopped taking money from AJ.
At IC, Loweena requests Adi for a job at least for the sake of their old friendship. Adi is reluctant and Loweena pleads with him saying that she is in dire need of money and that leave the office, she is willing to work in the canteen also. Adi tells her the money is for drugs right? Loweena tells him that she has given up drugs for the past 6 months, but Adi doesn't believe her and tells her he knows what sort of excuses a drug addict offers. He reminds Loweena that she had said the same thing the last time he offered her friend ( is the friend Manisha!!!!!!!! ) a job and look what happened then. Loweena tells him that she doesn't keep contact with that friend any longer and that she herself has been in rehab for the past 2 months. She tells Adi sadly that nobody believes her and she had come to him only because she considered him her friend and she thought he would help her in her hour of need. She turns her head away. Poor Adi melts and asks her if she has really left drugs. Loweena says yes and Adi tells her that he will speak to Vishesh on this subject. He goes from there and Loweena heaves a sigh of relief that he bought her jhoot.
Chandini and Amy are sitting in the canteen. Amy looks at her music player longingly and tells Chandini that she wished it was hers and that she will buy one later. Chandini tells her not to get too attached to the player as she has to collect all of them by the end of the shift as instructed by Adi. Amy tells her teasingly that she shouldn't take such a burden on her slender shoulders. Chandini laughs and tells Amy that there is one more bhoj which she has to return. She gives Amy back the cellphone and tells her that she can't accept such an expensive gift. Amy tells her that she is upset. Chandini tells her that she had taken it only because she didn't want to hurt her, but her Beeji told her to give it back. Leaning forward, she tells Amy that if I don't return the phone, Beeji will get angry and do you know what she will do? Amy also leans forward and asks What? Chandini catches hold of her ear and tells her laughingly that Beeji will nicely twist your ears and kick you out of the door. Amy tells her that she is simply doing badnaam on Beeji, but Chandini tells her that yo don't know the anger of my Beeji. She tells Amy that they better get back to work as their shift will be starting soon.
Both get up from their seats when they are stunned to see Loweena before them. Amy asks Loweena indignantly as to what she is doing there. Loweena tells, oh you two are doing badla on me! She tells them that she has come to meet Adi and asks them what they are doing there. Amy pointing to her's and Chandini's badges tells her that they work here. Loweena looks at Amy's badge and says, oh you are Amy with an attitude. She looks at Chandini's badge and is surprised at her name. She tells the two that her name is Loweena and that she will be joining them tomorrow as their colleague. Amy and Chandini are shocked and Amy tells Chandini that they better go and tell Vishesh that Loweena is a drug addict. They are going from there when Loweena spots the music player on the table which Amy has left behind. She takes it stealthily and puts it in her bag. She then says, wait a minute sweetheart. Both stop and Amy turns around, but Loweena tells her she is speaking to the other one. Chandini then turns around and Loweena tells her, that you have been searching for someone for many days right? Chandini is stunned to hear this. Loweena just goes from there and a still stunned Chandini asks Amy as to Loweena was referring to.

Preview of next episode: Chandini is counting all the music players and says that there is only 8 when there should be 9. Amy comes up to her and tells her worriedly that she is not able to find her player anywhere. Beeji tells Sheeba that you understand the pain which we are going through on being seaprated from Manisha and that Chandini has no idea that I have come to meet you. Chandini and Amy come up to Loweena in the canteen and ask her whether she had noticed any player on the table where they were sitting as that was where Amy had seen the player last. Loweena replies no and asks them to keep searching with full effort; then you will find anything or ( looking at Chandini knowingly ) anyone. Chandini looks at her in surprise.
