Some random opinions

Here are some random opinions that I have formed about S3.

It cannot beat S1 but I’ll admit it I’d definitely much better than that joke of a S2.

Imlie ki Beti Imlie ki Beti Imlie is like her Nani but more average. However she is way better than her cringey mother.

Gattu the Fattu is just boring not interesting at all. He is as bad as his joker Sasur. Same old angry male. Plus his horrible wig makes everything worse.
(His BGM sounds like a cheap knockoff of the BGM that was used for vamps like Anu)

Sita Maiya has retired and has been replaced with Radha Rani. Maybe cause Sita Maiya was useless and let the previous Tamarinds die young.

Pallo Mami and Bittu may be mean but they’re much better than that despicable Nakli Nani who to this day gives one nightmares.

Mamaji is useless. A lazy old drunkard. He is nothing compared to the hero Satyakam.

It sounds weird hearing Imlie say ‘Kairi Didi’ as we never saw any moments between the two.

Why can’t Ashu’s father or his family look after him why Imlie who is already in destitute.

Why didn’t the useless Rana’s bother to find their granddaughters.

Why didn’t they just kill Athlie, Rana’s and Anu together seen as they’ve randomly disappeared anyway.

I’m surprised Anu isn’t plotting against the Tamarind in this season. Is she still alive?

The Chaudhary’s are ancient cartoons. Why are they so old fashioned 20 years in the future?

I like Annapurna she is a great matriarch to Chaudhary family much better than useless Rana’s (though she seems secretly evil)

Golu Chacha looks too young to be a Chacha. Sad how Anna always taunts him.

Golu’s wife looks like Manorama Mami.

Mano ki Baat Maano is another useless clown with no relevance.

I sympathise with Sauteli Maa aka Alka I initially thought she was the evil sautan. But the poor woman got cheated on, has a step son and is constantly controlling by Annapurna.

Sonali is another interesting character like her mother sad she’s not another Arpita but she’s much better than that useless Ginni.

That Jijaji is a complete cartoon. Why does he dress like that in the future and why is he living with the Chaudhary’s. I hope the filthy fraud gets exposed in front of Sonali soon.

Imlie Season 3 is a complete reset back to the basics and that is why you have the rural setup for this season. It is definitely better than Season 2 which did not work at all. According the the lead actress interview there is no link between the previous seasons and it is a complete new setup. That is why you don't see any of the Ranas here. And Kairi is shown dead in the beginning.

So Agastya's brother and Imlie's sister Kairi eloped and married and were expecting a child when they meet up with an accident which kills them. Kairi delivers a boy Ashu and Imlie has been raising the kid alone all this time. Neither Agastya knows that his brother had a son and neither Imlie knows it is Agastya's brother who was married to her sister.

one thing I am really glad in this show is that it is no longer 2 sisters fighting for the same male lead. This is more of a reboot on the lines of Pride and Prejudice which is Gul's favorite template.

Season 1 was the worst for me with that annoying Imliya and her ego problems

Season 2 was beter than season 3. Even though season 2 was all about EMA, season 3 has better leads but the storyline is even more poor.

I agree. Any story is better than showing two sisters or cousins fighting for the same man and planning and plotting ways to separate the leads. I love it when there's no third person trying to create problems between the couple and all the problems are their own MUs or prejudices.

Leaving my bias aside, this would be a good show to watch though I'm not fond of the very poor background and language used. But I see why this couldn't have worked in a more urban setting. Things need to be done for trp so it's ok. Season 2 I've not seen so I don't know much. I've seen the whole arylie track before separation and it was good. There again you had the bigamy track etc (whichever way you put it or justify), it didn't suit me and hence I only watched arylie track coz again it was the classic Gul template.

Girte padte I end up watching so many of Gul shows kya hi karna yaar. Grown up reading M&Bs and ofcourse the fav P&P which is such a good story. I am enjoying how well etched and written and performed the show is.
