Episode begins with Atharva and Imli meeting in the mandir, with much hesitation and deliberation Atharva manages to tell Cheeni , he loves her and does not love Imli . Cheeni is very happy.
At the same mandir Imli is all decked up in her finery as she enters the mandir with Rupi and Arpita , she stumbles as Atharva professes her live for Cheeni but Imli vouches never tk waver in her feelings for Atharva and carry on loving him with full devotion , she prays to Maiyya .
Cheeni takes Atharva’s hand n pulls him to take a few pheras of the sacred fire , she makes a few promises , at the same time Imli takes phases of the sacred tree along its other suhaagans and makes a few promises to Devi maiyya on how she will make her marriage relationship successful .Pandit ji then gives Imli the coconut to offer the Devi .
After Atharva and Cheeni take a few pheras she picks up sindoor ki dibbi and asks him to full up her maang so that their marriage will be completed . Atharva picks up sindoor but feel hesitation while filling mangnn he is unable to understand why , just as he is about to pick up sindoor he spills the sindoor n topples off the dibbi. The sindoor ki dibbi and sindoor land on Imlie’s head and her maang gets filled with sindoor and Imli is unaware that this sindoor was Atharva’s. Nor does Atharva realise his sindoor has landed on Imli .
Imli feels this is ishaara from Devi maiyya and her blessings too .
Atharva’s hesitation makes Cheeni fume and she confronts him, he states Imli was very innocent n he was feeling bad tk break her heart , Cheeni then asks him to tel, Imli that he was breaking off their relationship. Just as Atharva is about to tell Imlie, Keya bhaabhi and Akash arrive there n interrupt . They take Imli to complete the rituals .
Akash warns Atharva against Cheeni .
