Wah wah SP & CVs....How do you manage to do it every time?

The most vulnerable among the two leads today was Imlie. She's the one who is in pain both physically and emotionally. She had a miscarriage, a head injury and probably other minor injuries too from falling off the steps. Then she's brutally crucified by her love by bringing up her past and ousted from his life within probably 24hrs of him saying he will never leave her hand. Yet what we get to see next is she asking Sita Mayya to show her the next direction and there lands Gudiya in her hands!!! Seriously CVs??? Majority of your TRP audience are women and this is not how a woman who just had a miscarriage behave. Isn't Imlie a human being? Why doesn't she deserve a breakdown? Why can't she be given some time to breathe before entrusting her with a new mission? Isn't it important to show her grieving Cheeku's loss so that we could connect to her? And without all these, you want us to watch mahaan Imlie showering Gudiya with the share of love she wanted to shower on Aryan & Cheeku, in the pretext of an assignment given by Sita Mayya. Who are you trying to fooling? 😡

And then you realise you have to balance your so called creativity by playing with the ML too. Tab jaake you turn him into someone he is not. Otw what's the reason why the same person who ensured that she has a shelter to stay last time she left RM, is not shown to be bothered about her safety. Especially when she is now in her most vulnerable state and also as he knows that she is being haunted by Malini & Anu. By making him behave so, you are making Aryan look more brutal than AKT. Atleast she was not vulnerable physically at that time when she was out in the streets. At this pace, tomorrow if it's revealed that Aryan and Malini is married, I will not be surprised. Because, since you don't want to show your FL as a human being & her progression, the only way you have then is to show your ML regressive or turn a positive character into negative like how you did with Malini.

Taaliyaan bajaana chaahiye....Whoever has wrote today's episode, they should not display their brains in public; you might be kidnapped for a huge sum of alimony.😏 That much precious & valuable is your brains. If Imlie was only to be shown as a problem solver/caretaker throughout her life, why did you have to bring in a mentor-mentee track for ASR-Imlie. Already you are showing lots of illogical things. You could have just shown Imlie as a superwoman then also and involve her in a new mission of pulling out Aryan from guilt & darkness before she moves onto her next mission as Gudiya's caretaker. Oh no....but then you had to prove GM that even without him you can run a show, right? So had to bring in Arylie track. Now that the purpose is achieved, you are back to your usual trick of butchering characters so that he/she will never outshine your titular character Imlie, even when she is equally flawed like Aryan and Malini.

To my fellow forumites, sorry if I have bothered you with my disappointing rants. I don't know how long I will continue with the show. Evenif I continue, it might be for the actors only. Because, I understand that they too (especially FK & SK) might have been feeling monotonous with the same repeat-rinse-recycled scenes they have been through after the Purandas PF and so they might have wanted to have a break from it to breathe some fresh air. So, if they will be able to convince me that post leap is like a new season with Aryan v3 & Imlie v3, whose characters don't have any relation with their preleap characters; rather are here to entertain us with a different shade, then probably I will continue as I don't want to miss watching such brilliant actors on screen. Hope it works. 😔

I feel very strongly against the upcoming track of adopted child because there are so many legal issues that it drives me nuts.

imlie can be seen as kidnapper in one way -- you are not supposed to just raise an abandoned child under our current laws. you are supposed to report to the police station. they will turn the case to child services who will then give to a couple who is waiting for adoption.

also, there have been cases when adopted parents who illegally took in a child were charged with kidnapping and the charges are for 7-8 years if they get prosecuted. so this is not a joke.

considering that the number of couples wanting to adopt outweighs the number of children available (that is the current adoption climate in our country), it is in some ways stealing the happiness of a couple for your own benefit.

I wish the CVs had done some actual legal research -- not that hard, just watch the news!

what would I have liked to see?

if it was impossible to get around this child track, then please have them follow the law! have the temple authorities hand the child to an orphanage. imlie starts volunteering at that very place. because the baby has heart disease, no one wants to adopt her. so she ends up staying at the orphange. over the years, imlie gets attached as she pops in whenever she can during her work.

or even better turn the the child over the tripathis who are the natural relatives.

Legal issues or leads breaking laws are not a new thing in ITV shows. They are specially exempted from it. So, I don't find it a hindrance in watching the show. My problem is with their ignorance in treating human emotions as it is. Today, Sumbul was trying her best to convey Imlie's frustrations & disappointments, while talking to Sita Mayya. But, I couldn't feel anything for her. Because, even in her most vulnerable state, Imlie is behaving as a superwoman. How are the audience supposed to connect to her? And then to compensate it they turned Aryan look like another AKT by not showing him check about her whereabouts. I now doubt whether they really want to run the show for long?

I completely share and understand your sentiments..Especially the bold parts.. they are literally butchering the very base of their relationship so much so that i am not able to connect to the recent turn of events.. both of them were wrong at some point but sorry kon boly ga sirf Aryan.. and don't get me wrong mujhe Aryan ke sorry se problem nahi hai he should apologize for his mistakes but problem sirf Aryan ko galat dikhany or apologize karwany se hai.. if they are both 50 50 in mistakes so should be in apologizing as well but nah i know in future episodes they will butcher Aryan even more

I am watching this show since december 6th and i am watching it only for Arylie kia tha Aryan or kia bnana chah rahy hain ye use..if they want to butcher him then i will leave the show with whatever fond memories i have of them but cant watch such injustice to ASR's character...Or imlie jahan thi wo aj bhi wahen hai progress kahan hai bhai.. chalo progress to nahi dikhani in logon ko atleast jo hai usko to mat bigado😒

I wrote a lot in DT yesterday and so I don't want to set off grenades again. but I have strong opinions about why this gudiya track is wrong. you can see the convo we had -- pages 62-74. many of us are frankly uncomfortable with even the idea of her raising guidya and we feel the TRP aunties would feel the same. so let me post one of my posts:

"if they show her raising gudiya, then it means she chose aditya in spirit. there is no childhood trauma that can explain away this choice. gudiya has relatives and there is zero reason for imlie to be mahaan and raise the child in secret. none at all. zero. so we are then forced to come back to aditya and consider that she doesn't love aryan and wasn't committed to this marriage. 🙄"

I think they wrote it this way because they are aware that we find it icky that yet again, aditya comes back into the picture through guidya. because they are aware of the kind of optics and how TRP aunties would react to her raising her ex's child, they made it seem like a religious calling and therefore she has no reason but to refuse. however, that is just dumb because she essentially kidnapped the child from her own natural relatives, the tripathis. they are not dead. that is indeed kidnapping.

Okay, not that I care, but I have seen women, who get abandoned by their husbands, pour all their love into children, be it their own or someone close to them. Not because they aren't hurt or don't have love for their spouses but because they are indignant— abhimaanini. Not because they are substituting children for their husbands but because they are compartmentalising the hollowness by pouring in the love into someone who is equally as vulnerable as them — Imlie immediately stuck to Gudiya in temple because she felt as abandoned as her.

Allso, the investigation was a cold-open to the leap. They would show Imlie's pain, anger, love, hatred, indignation all in spades in the coming episodes. It's not a linear narration.

I seriously don't understand this Cheeku vs Gudiya discourse as if people can truly just walk away from a wailing orphaned infant in a desolate place and leave them to die.

I am now out of all those kon sorry bolega nahin bolega phase. I am also not bothered about Cheeni being Aditya's child. That's how disconnected I am feeling after the last two episodes. Except for the acting part by the Khan duo, nothing made sense to me. So, now I am ready to watch postleap as a new story. Because, for me Arylie V2 ended with their convo at the teastall after Jyo's PF. 😊

DB....You have mistaken that part of my post of Imlie finding her partner in Gudiya. Tbh, I never had any problem in Imlie wanting to be Gudiya's caretaker. My problem is with the fast pace and execution in showing all these, without giving proper monologue to Imlie and without showing her breakdown after loosing Aryan & Cheekku. If it is after showing her breakdown that they had showed Sita Mayya entrusting her with Gudiya, people would have connected with her easily. That's what I wanted to point out.

I am feeling so sad right now.. have mixed feelings about this whole scenario.. right now i am just hoping ASR's core character remains intact and just for the sake of conflict they don't downgrade his character phle hi kafi kuch out of character kar chuka hai wo for this separation track ab or nahi please

That's exactly what triggered me today. And that's just convenient writing as they don't want to put much brains into writing a proper breakdown for Imlie. And made it look like Imlie will always be on a mission lifelong.🤦🏻‍♀️
