Hi. Been quite a while since I dropped by. I stopped watching Imlie from the day she started apan Gudiya jaap. It was unpalatable for me to watch. The entire track was nonsense especially since I was trying to recover from the Jyothi nonsense to begin with. Writers do not know how to engage the audience by keeping a balance of light and strong episodes and interspersing romance anc humour between tracks.

I am on team no one. If this were a real life case, I would wish Aryan finds a decent woman and moves on in life and never looks back. I would wish Imlie learns to own up to her choices and not seek validation from every single person other than herself.

He has given enough of his share of the 50-50 relationship and has not once received his share of the 50 back from Imlie. It is always her way, her insecurities, her need for validations, her need to find new obsessions. He has always bent to adjust to her POV and her needs and not once has she bent to do the same for him. Even when he was suffering from thinking his wife was raped and needed her presence she barely had time for him until she just couldnt succeed in her mission herself and had to seek his help. Even then Aryan bent to her needs and chose to help her despite not believing her words. The less said about the Gudiya track the better.

Just calling it a 50-50 partnership hardly makes it into one in reality. Actions dont match words in Imlie’s case. Love is an emotion, eternal and flowing. It needs not anything but itself to sustain it for a lifetime. But a relationship is a practical agreement of balancing the needs of two people. Its just like any other business that way, you choose the partner who meets all your needs more or less and you the same for them and you try to create profit by working together.

Love needs not marriage. Marriage needs more than just love. Marriage needs trust, patience, friendship, tolerance, acceptance and a big dose of practicality to make it go the mile.

One cannot be an emotional saint out to rescue everyone while having no brains to spare time and energy for the people and assets at home, and then expect the partner to just go along with this idiocy. Partner is a human being with needs, not a tool that will say “babe, I am with you” all the time. Imlie is not fit for marriage, none of her actions are that of a partner. A lover she can be, a partner….not really.

As for Aryan, he needed to fill the void of his jiju’s death and saw Imlie as a person who he could finally protect. The thing is, this makes him her rebound, not really her choice. He was more her therapist and that makes Imlie his patient. And we all know that doc and patient needs boundaries. Aryan did not set limits of how much she could take from him. He was supportive of her needs but his needs he forgot to share. A masochist. Thats why he is suffering more. Had he made his boundaries and expectations clear from the get go and not given in to her all the time, he would have avoided a lot of situations her village upbringing and immaturity landed him in.

And Imlie isnt unfeeling after 5 yrs. She has just tucked tail and ran back to her secure PD den of vigilantes. She has no man to back up her idiocy in the city now, and just doesnt have the guts to stand on her own two feet like any other woman toughing it out in the city without a mentor or rich biased husband. This is what she knows best to do. Be an insecure individualist. Those dont survive without a host of relationship to pick up their shit and they go about doing what they feel is best.

Why to value the college she worked so hard for and stay and find a job in any city? Why not drag a baby to an unsafe and uneducated village instead of locating the baby’s real family? Why bother trying to build a life as a reporter in the city and getting some financial security for her har working old mom? Why not drag the child into an unsafe locality for her selfish work?

The problem with Imlie is not that she is emotional. The problem is that she doesnt have one drop of rationality. That makes her feral, wild. Those belong truly in a jungle. Not a city. Definitely not in a human marriage.

The problem with Aryan is that he forgot how to be happy on his own. Thats why he clings to sunshine Imlie no matter if she is too much work. A sane man with his own space of happiness would never have mixed mentor and husband with a girl like that!

Yaar tbh i hv started feeling same.. i was coming to like imlie even during that narmada abuse track qs i cld feel her posessvoeness fr her hubby in adoption center but now arylie se disconnected i feel.. not interested in this one sided saga that doesnt mean love is one sided no.. i feel even frm asr side it looked more empathy n sympathy n they didnt develop his part also welll...n imlie ka i feel in both marriages its infatuation types.wen i shifted to kkis fr a while n stopped imlie i still missed arylie as found them my comfort ship , the example they set of being non toxic..now i heard thwy hv started showing aditya fbs in arylie separation too ..it looks like rebound only n im more fr love stories where theres equality in hatred or love..currently CM is seving me that esp recent epis.

I fully understand and agree. I myself feel dispassionate about them now. Aryan and Imlie both have no growth. They were unhealthily dependent on each other. Him on her ability to bring joy and her on his ability to support. Thats ok in a partnership to a degree but if you cant function or need to hide back in your den after the breakup then you did not work on yourself at all!

Writers have messed up the story to pieces. And honestly I would never want to see Aryan and Imlie getting back together after this. Not until he learns to be happy on his own and she grows some maturity to stand above her insecurities. Its another train wreck waiting to happen, at least it would be in real life.

It might sound harsh but that is why people should date multiple times before choosing a partner so they can judge how well they adjust toneach other, Upbringing matters a lot! You cannot expect a village vigilante illegitimate orphan and an altruistic guilt complex protective rich man to make a go for a marriage when they have not worked out their own issues! Had this partnership been a 50-50 business, thats a loss from the get go cuz besides their pain and angst they have nothing in common!

Exactly u knw their post wedding banters were a snoozefest unlike other gul shows where all fls were a firecracker damn hilarious n adorably cutee😍 but imlie is an exception.. i dnt find her imlipanti at all funny to wch all used to laugh at whether tripathis or rathores.. their banters lacked attraction or pull like other gul shows.. esp IB shivika,asya or even ishkara they were my fav but gul axed vrushika n did ishakra so bad ( thwy had so much potential omkara ishana) .. it was onky the angst pain etc n mentor mentee or thier common interest maybe in 50 5o fighting goons lol .

Whoever are writing for Imlie really need a reality check. Even the competitor show on Ztv BL is entertaining to watch even though the concept and ML and FL characters are pathetic. Also enough comedic and emo screen space is given to side chars. At the end of the day,why will I waste time watching a show that gives me anxiety and no joy? I’ll just change the channel and watch something better!

Hate to Love works when its a new story. With a leap, broken marriage and a child in the picture, if they show leads as being hateful and revengeful and fighting against each other, its just a toxic relationship setting a bad example as adults to the child. The only post leap plus child trope that worked successfully was Dev Sona from KRPKAB as the leads were shown dealing with it much more maturely after a few non toxic arguments.

Imlie saves a girl from being forcibly married off. Then Cheeni figures out that Imlie is in pain too because the same thing had happened her. Then Imlie has a flashback first to her leaving her first husband and then leaving ASR. Sigh. Is it really that bad in context? No but given everything that we had to watch recently, it was hard to me to take. Is she seriously putting both her marriages in the same level? Really?

Sidnaaz bhi just friends hai… aur tinsel town mein just friends ka matlab kuch aur hota hai🤣🤣
