Post leap, Imlie is made a villain by showing her being a survivor and focussing on her work, her partnership with Cheeni. and Aryan has got into Kabir Singh mode, self destruction, waiting for his death.

If you see Imlie 1.0, she was always a survivor (in Aryan's own words in Adini wedding track). She just cried and vented out her frustration in each situation, put on a smile on face and moved on. She never entered into revenge mode. Thats how most of the women are made of. They are the most resilient. Thats because she has been going through several traumas since the moment she was inside Methis' womb, even before birth. She never had a moment of peace and happiness in the real sense.
We audience were not upset when she behaved normally and happy even while she witnessed her husband marrying another lady. Because we also were not happy and we were not in love with AKT. Here we feel bad because we are in love with Aryan.
Aryan 2.0 is now Kabir Singh mode. He stopped even working, thats why Malini is in BT. Why Malini, why not Arpita take care of BT?
He was equally responsible for what has happened in his life, but he has turned revengeful, self destruction mode. Precap says "the one who burnt my dreams has the value of only ashes in my life" while he burns their pictures. He forgot the fact that he was the one who pushed away her from his life.
Its the same way as he was behaving in the marriage track, in the name of giving a choice, he went on saying she can back out any time, but actually there was no choice. But here his behaviour is much intensive. The same way he told her if you want to be the cause of my pain, hold my hand and this time she went away. Yet deep inside, he never thought she would leave him and he expected her to come back all these years and that frustration is shown as burning of pictures.
Imlie says City is the place you get everything, but it is the place which rejects you. And she will also reject what rejected her. A foreshadowing that now both are 50-50 adamant and its going to be interesting to watch
PS: I wonder in 5 years no one from RM tried to contact Imlie and her Amma. Not even Sundar. When all of them knows only Imlie can bring Aryan back to his senses. They also know what she did for AKT and Ts, even after divorce, she considered them family. Why they thought Imlie won't consider them family after separation?
I don't see any reason for Aryan-Malini marriage. Aryan is now shown as lifeless, emotionless and waiting for death. Malini was all through shown as obsessed lover of AKT. Why she should get obsessed with Aryan all of a sudden. It will be a business partnership I suppose.
Some article I read Arpita has a child, so Aryan is now uncle to that child. Even that child could not bring him back to his soft form. Thats unbelievable.
I wonder at present is he mourning the loss of Cheeku or loss of Imlie? What was the sapne that he was talking about in pre cap?
Kabir Singh type of people are interesting to watch on screen, especially when you have hot handsome talented FK performing. But in real life, I don't like such people, as they are extreme in love and extreme in hate. Too difficult to handle. They can't manage any stress, if things go against their wish. No flying chappals please. I love FK and Shahid both are wonderful and handsome actors.

They are both in character just the extreme version of it. I don’t see either of them as villains. I see them as two flawed individuals going through the worse breakup of their life. I went thru such a heart crushing soul killing break up when I was 20 (yeah I was a kid and head over heels) and 22 years later I still hate the man but what I hate most is that he broke it up with me (ego), he didn’t ask me to come back when I walked out in him . He married the most gorgeous girl ever (sigh… I am petty) and seemed so happy (so delusional that he couldn’t be happy without me) And I had to attend his damn wedding and pretend to be the most happiest person in the world and that I didn’t give a damn (Rubbing extra special salt lemon on my wound) 22 years later, happily married, 3 kids later I can still feel the residuals of that hurt every time I see him. I totally resonate with Aryan and Imlie. Especially Imlie. ❤️
