Chap 9- Confession

Imlie woke up feeling worst headache ever. It was early morning, she went to bathroom to wash her face. Thats when she realized what happened at night. She will put an end to this , she had enough. She will confess today to Aryan whatever the consequences are. She got dressed and texted Aryan “Hi boss, i know this is early, but if you dont mind can we meet in half hour at Sunshine Breakfast place? “

In few minutes he replied, “All of sudden? All ok?”

“Yes” she texted back “Please its important matter.”

“Fine see you soon” he responded immediately this time.

Imlie was seated near the corner, where from the glass windows she could see city waking up and ready to hustle. She saw car pulled up and Aryan coming out of it. How can he do look so dapper everyday? Imlie shook her head, to remove his thoughts. He spotted her and took a sit across her.

“Good Morning Imlie” he said smiling

“Good Morning Sir” she replied

“Sir? Its outside working hours, you can call me Aryan. And anyways the amount of time i have sat with lunch, I think we are friends by now no?” He said chuckling as he ordered black coffee for himself.

Imlie smiled at the thought of being friends with him, but realize after confessing she doesnt know how this will go.

“Tell me what was so urgent?” He asked curiously looking right into her eyes. The way he stares can make anybody feel intimidated.

“Sir i mean Aryan what am i about to tell you, will affect everything am sure. But please give me chance to finish up what i have to say no matter how much angry you get ? Please” She said sincerly hoping he listens

“Angry? Why? Whats so crazy that i could get angry and get affected?”

“It will affect everything we have. The friendship you just mentioned will get affected too but i have to say it. Its the burden i been carrying for long now. My sleep, my life everything is ruined.”

“Hm, Go on” Imlie closed her eyes and said

“I am the girl Vihaan talked about in letter” she opened her eyes, Aryan sat there no reaction yet.

“I am the girl he loved , but please i never lead him on in anyways. He stalked me, it was obsession, he send me texts. I will show all the texts as proof. I even met him for coffee to explain him i dont have any feelings and he cant force someone. He saw me in club and ever since “ She sighed , now there was emotions on Aryan face: Rage but he kept quiet.

“Please Aryan…Sir…. My life hasnt been same, i was so tortured mentally that i threatned him i will end my life” She was silently sobbing as she started having flashes of the past.

“You threatned him to end your life?” Aryan finally spoke , his jaw was clenched

She nodded yes , he got up banging the table “Why would you do that!???MAYBE THATS WHERE HE GOT THE IDEA FROM” He was shouting and the whole cafe was looking at them whispering.

“Please Sir, no dont say that ! After that he didnt bother me believe me i thought he finally understood what he was doing was wrong. I found that he is your brother the day he passed away. Ever since i been trying to tell you but couldnt muster up courage. Somebody is messaging me again from his phone”

“Why the fu*k i should believe anything you saying? I checked his number , nothing was found in it” he said seething in anger

“He might be using different number, i dont know ! Please believe me , you can ask my friends , they have seen him” She tried her best to convince him but eventually he stared at her in disbelief “I trusted you Imlie, slowly but eventually i finally made a friend in life but “ he said calmly “You are fired!” With that he took some money out kept on table and left.

Imlie stood there , hanging her head in guilt, she paid and left back for her home. Everything is over, he didnt give one chance to believe her and why would he? The texts she got from was not even his brother number. She felt heavy, as she walked down the road. She aimlessly walked and was about to cross when a car crashed into her. People gathered and helped her get into the hospital. She was out of danger as she laid in the dark room unconcious. A man walked in , took a chair and sat next to her. “Tch- Tch. Kya se kya hogaa baby. Karma hmm. Dekho kitni lagi hai tumhe “ He did made fake sad face ,

“Meri baby ko lag gai …are are maine kuch nai kia…. Karma baby karmaa… “ He got up and kissed her cheeks “Take care…. I still have to torture you mentally… nai nai ye sab maine nai kia… i can never hurt you physically “ He pouted , “Kyu kuch bol nai rahi?hmmm?Sab bata dia tune… ab dekho kya hogayaa… mein naraz hu bhagwan se.. mere badle ka hisa unhone le lia” He said sadly “Koi nai jaldi se thik ho jao phir we will start our game again” He said clapping like a child. He looked at her one last time and left the room without making a noise.
