One of the best cinematographic team...Team Imlie

If I will have to list one of my firsts in my 15+ years of watching ITV, with the show Imlie, then it will be the consistency maintained in delivering aesthetic scenes/shots throughout the episodes that I have watched after Aryan's entry. Kudos to Gul and her team for serving us with such beautiful frames which adds up in highlighting the mood of each scenes. I haven't ever seen an ITV show where the team puts this much effort in the cinematographic dept. Well done team and thanks for the same. 👏

Not all of us might be interested into such details. Also, I know that the story many times make us pull our hair; but this is one area where the team have been consistent with. Hence, I am tagging a few so that the team would be appreciated.

Thanks for sharing this. I was thinking the same. They have been consistently delivering such beautiful scenes. Loved it. I am biased for night ones and this treehouse with lights top the list.. 👏

I love the angles, the frame and the people..very well shot..even when there are no dialogues the frame speaks a thousand words..

Aryan coming back to pick up Imlie from the rain, there was something in background lighting, how he bends his head and walks into rain, it was simple, but to me..he was able to come out of his comfort zone, the locked mind and look outside..Imlie really brought him out.

the second was the lighting during the time that Imlie walks out from Rs. The song, the lighting, the frame ..how talented this team is. Kudos.

I have a thing for red colourings in the frame. It intensifies the emotions involved in a frame, even when every frame will have a different meaning to be conveyed.
