I was not satisfied with Sundar’s response today. She should have been more loud and clear. Clearly he hit a jackpot with Arpita. But he can’t behave dumb like he did today. His response wasn’t satisfactory.

At the time of my marriage, even though my parents insisted so much that they want to give me and husband somethings for new house of both of us, my husband was loud and clear NO. So many discussions but still he didn’t agree to take a penny. He said give 101 Rs to us as your blessings and we are good. I still have high regards for his decision. Sorry for sharing personal story here but all I want to say is DOWRY should be a big NO NO…. Today daughters are equivalent to sons or even better. How will the gender disparity end if we don’t stop these practices? I am glad they touched this topic here in Imlie but would have loved it if Sundar was loud and clear also Arpi clearly should have said NO to it. They should have left Sundar and his Mom to decide if they want to do the wedding without any Dowry rather than the other way round.

Give gifts to your daughter, that’s fine but purely out of your will and not forcefully. The couple needs to sort their life on their own. The struggle rather gets husband wife closer than any amount of money can.

The beginning scene between the brother and sister was just love.

And the arylie scene was cute. Like said above they could have shown more flirtation and shaadi mein dono ke cute scenes.

Glad they're showing the dowry issue and imlie smartly made devil to spill the beans and handling with a law is good, dowry can't be encouraged. I am not expecting anything from narmada but what Aru and Sundar doing🤔??

He has confidence she will handle it ..from the beginning of all hurdles he said she can handle everything...he will just be her support incase she needs it...so that's what he is doing...we don't always need makes to voice out ..sometimes a females voice is enough that's what makers are trying to show ..if need be he will fight for her...we all know that. It's such a good thing that they are highlighting the dowry issue which is still so prevalent in india..

Yes i agree Sundar should have been more confident about his opinion but he was always a silent person...we have seen that...he couldn't raise his voice even in tripathi family...so he is doing better..i think very few shows highlight issues like imlie...i feel they are doing great at their own level...i know Aryans dialogues were less but everyone should get a equal chance right...it's a family drama not just a love story..;)

good episode..Wish they tone down on Imlie's mahaanta and focus on her academics. Sundar being totally not in loop of his mom's deeds is a surprise..there are alternative ways they could have presented Sundar's side. Probably have good farmlands and stuff, but wanted to come to city and establish himself..that would have made peace for me that Arpi is getting married to a non greedy in-laws side.

Yep, who will not want to flirt or atleast oggle at this handsome dude and Imlie am telling you is made of some rock ? May be some fingers rubbing against each other or them lost in themselves when called for gathbandan...could have easily introduced some slow romance...but no, mahaan and only mahaan..
