Eid Mubarak everyone. Just saw the episode what in the world. My Mamoon used to listen to these songs. I thought I was watching a 70s movie. Yeh kiya tha. Every thing was great but the song selection. How can you screw that up. Seriously.

Aren't you all missing the point of the 90s songs? I'm not familiar with playback singers but am I mistaken in thinking that the 90s songs everyone is complaining about were all sung by Lata Mangeshkar? If so, then Imlie and pretty much all other shows on Star Utsav are paying homage to her after her demise. It might even be at the behest of the channel that these songs are being played. There is a new show dedicated to her so this may also serve as an indirect promotion of that show. We've even had cast members singing snippets of their favourite songs from her. Just saying.
