Breaking the shackles of the past

Both Arylie had a painful past. If for Imlie it all started from the forced marriage by the PD villagers, for Aryan it started from the day he saw his Jiju burnt alive in front of him. So, for them to have new beginnings, they have to come out this troublesome past. 😌

The PD terrorist track was plotted to show how with Aryan's help, Imlie fights against the villagers and comes out of the shackles of the nightmare she went through for the past one year. Result was, the intensity with which she used to feel for Aditya was gone by the end of the track and BS became Aditya sir for her. Arylie became 50-50partners.

Now this Arvind murder exposure track is to bring Aryan out of his past shackles and how Imlie becomes his 50-50 partner again to help him out. Seeing Imlie being in the same situation as his Jiju and succeeding in his fight to save her out, the shackles of Aryan's past will be broken. Those who have seen the climax of the movie Manichithrathaazhu or its remakes in other languages, will understand why Aryan has to go through this fire-rescuing experience and how it will help to get back our old Aru.

And once this track is over, my guess is that Aryan and Imlie will be shown being ready for a fresh start of their lives, individually and together.

P.S.It can't be a coincidence that before the start of both tracks a kaali bili crosses Imlie's paths and what follows is Arylie facing lots of hardships (bomb blast is a must😆), yet taking forward Arylie's relationship to the next level. I would like to believe that, by showing so, makers are trying to convey the message to the viewers that no superstition is above your spirit to fight and overcome one's hardships. If so, Kudos to the team for their efforts.

I like how you brought these parallels out. I truly, truly hope that the writers are thinking about breaking through the superstitions as you mentioned here.

Another strong belief/stereotype they broke is the one marriage for life 👍🏼 no matter what the partner throws at you. Take your time to come out of it, but move on with your head held high👍🏼There is absolutely no shame in finding a true soulmate thereafter👏, someone who cherishes you for who you are👏

You know what's lovely? Imlie got a rerun of the past and she changed the outcome (hut scene). Now Aryan is getting a rerun of the past (car scene) and he will change the outcome.

It just goes to show how both have become stronger in their journey to over come trauma!
