Because onus of rishta was completed dumped on the girl, she thought she is supposed to work on it alone cuz babysahib only cried and got drugged by and slept with his best friend. And then started taking care of his bestfriend bachhe ki maa.

You don't know how happy I felt when Imlie finally moved on cuz his manipulations and gaslighting are too much to forgive.
