Gets. 😂 Sumbul’s really tiny. They need to keep her build in mind when planning her outfits. Also, I second zari border organza sarees. 🙋🏽‍♀️💯 But one tone ones without prints please. I have a petite build similar to Sumbul, and prints just look overwhelming on people of our build.

Actually dual shades might look good too but yeah nothing super floral and curtainy

I may be an outlier here, but I actually really really like Imlie in sarees as her post-marriage look. I think Sumbul carried them well when they don't bunch a lot of fabric on her and keeps the draping simple like the maroon one. They also make Imlie look mature without aging her too much if it's the right saree. I also really don't like FLs in anarkali and/or churidar which is usually the alternative to a saree post-marriage look.

Of course, right after her marriage, it makes sense for them to dress her up a little more like she was in the hospital scenes with her big earrings, etc. because she is a "nayi nuveli dulhan". I'm guessing that they will eventually tone done the jewellery and makeup (with exception of kajol ofc) and keep the sarees overall. They should bring back her braid sometimes too because I feel like that is when she's peak Imlie.

Some of Mrs ASR's sarees so far:

- The first red when they announce the fake marriage was beautiful and really suited her. The whole look was awesome tbh.

-The orange-y one from SR day was a really nice sari in itself but was too "old" for her for it to be more than a new dulhan look.

- I actually liked the floral sari look from the hospital scenes because I felt like it was true to Imlie. She usually wears funky prints in her pre-wedding shalwar suits and they should continue that in her sarees. Yes not all of them are super fashionable and to everyone's taste but Imlie looks best when she looks like herself.

- This maroon simple saree she wore in the most recent episodes was really elegant too. It seemed more like a casual home/sleeping look. I also liked how the blouse was almost backless and there wasn't a ton of extra fabric clinging to her frame, I feel like it makes her look more mature while still being youthful.

I'm excited to see more of her saree looks. I am also very excited for Aryan's reactions to them. He usually doesn't care what she wears but he has started to stare at her a little more when she dresses up. I want some scenes of him just flipping out over her sarees (and the almost backless blouses 😉😉). If you have seen Jamai Raja there's a scene where Roshni wears a yellow net saree and Siddarth can't handle it - I want those vibes and for Awkward "shut up Aryan" Singh Rathore to return.

I mean, I used to find saris very sexy at 20-21 so I wore them quite frequently. I do agree that saris shouldn't be transitional only as an indicator of marital status

I think her wardrobe will diversify as they do away with the new bride asoect

it cracks me up they didn't put in her extensions for the haldi, and then she was in the bun for a bit, then bam braid is back. i like it when her hair is down and she has the two side braids/other braids like that

there's an essay percolating in me about ITV FLs and long hair plus the shift from kameez to sari post wedding. one day!

Absolutely, I want some cool night suits..Pallavi in MHRW or even any other form of pajamas will help. It feels real..Else who sleeps in sarees and make up all of a sudden..oh my.. Plus we all dress up in different styles..She can go in biz suits, skirt or work frock..she will look awesome and majestic..Saree...no please..Malini it totally worked well, I absolutely love one scene where she goes to R mansion to make a deal..The way she was walking towards ASR, so classic..There was fire..[Pardon my rant here, but the combo of Malini and ASR as villians and against each other was fire]..

Plus I mean, saree one day and regular kurta another day isnt gonna hurt.

I mean it's cultural in some states to transition to sari as soon as you get married so this compliance irks me.

Apart from that, saree>>>>>>>

I have the highest number of complaints regarding:

1. Why should a 20 year old kid wear saree?

2. Why can't she afford a Pretty Saree?

3. The jewellery choice for her specially earrings seems like from a collection of older lady.

4. With Saree she looks older than her age which bugs me the most
