Geeta says a perfect sage/ man is a stithapragya. One who is equidistant and steady in any given situation.

Man, I truly appreciate people who do not watch this show for Aryan Singh Rathore. The man is petty, pretty, pervasive, persuasive, passionate.

He triggers emotions that require investment of time and space— be it love or hatred. What a feat for the actor and the direction team!

I just have to admire people who do not watch this show for him for their equilibrium, equidistance, fortitude, and grace! 💓

And this my friend is a matter of hearts

The same heart that loves is equally capable of hate

Lines are blurry

Who knows where which ends?

Afterall both are one and the same in the middle.

Exactly! After all, there are so many stories on itv that have shown us that hate is actually equal to love. So many ITV MLs who we thought actually hated the FLs for the longest time were actually loving them and all it took was one great sacrifice on part of the FL or one NDE for them to realise their love. Then, be it Aditya for Imlie, or Shivaay for Anika from the PH's previous ones. And the fact that Shivaay and Aditya both are so loved by their fans goes on to say that love wrapped as hate sells like hot cakes – all in the name of MLs being flawed. I mean, the fact that a bigamy + cheating trope can get a 3 and plus on the TRP chart vs a push-pull that stops somewhere at 2 plus definitely tells us what works better with the audience.

Is it sad that Aryan can never match up to the likes of SSO or AKT? For their fans, maybe, because they find Aryan deplorable and incapable of getting TRPs. For Aryan’s fans, I think he's fine just the way he is because at the end of the day, it is taxing to be justifying a flawed character's motivations day in and day out instead of just enjoying the show for what it is meant to be – a source of entertainment. I'd rather enjoy character consistency for a few months and savour the show for a few months rather than have the show go on forever but not be able to recognize the character, who I fell in love with in the first place, anymore.

Love and hate are two extreme emotion , one needs to be invested to show any of those emotion.

And investment needs interest 😉

Agreed. Many a times shows will have the female lead state that why is it a woman's job to correct or fix a man and then they do exactly that. Not be a lover/wife/partner but a mother. Ugh!

Here is a man who is flawed yes but not of a weak character. He was raised and surrounded by some very powerful women, his sister and his mother and he respects them and as an extension respects all woman. Even with Imlie he may have been tough initially but it was to keep her distracted and away from her pain which no one saw or did anything about.

Stithipragya reminds me of.

Rashk kehta hai ki us ka ghair se iklas haif.

Aqal kehti hai ki vo be-mehr kis ka ashna.
