Chap 20

Next morning, after freshning up she decided to make breakfast. When she was just about to go downstairs, Aryan came out in towel arms folded across his chest, “Madam come here”he said.

“Nai”

“Bola na aao”

“Nai”

“Aao”

“Naaai” and she went downstairs paying no heed to him. His face was embarassed for sure.

She made breakfast and before he comes down, she left without him to police station.

She sat there while the hawaldar took her statement. He said she will have to show proof of the beatings which she knew she had taken pictures of her scars.

“Ye kon hai? “ suddenly hawaldar asked

She looked up confused, she saw Aryan sitting next to her. She gasped in suprise.

“Dost” he replied for her.

“Maine commissioner Uncle se baat karli hai, lawyer bhi hai- please take due action soon. Chaye to main call lagake deta hoon” he stated.

So this is all he been doing, that dau that man must be a lawyer. Why is he doing all this? Dost hai to kya? She dont want to fight in front of the police. Once all formalities were completed, Aryan got up and left waiting for Imlie by the car.

“Aaj shaam ko mujhe beach pe milna, kaam hai” he simple ordered her. She stood there with mouth open at this audacity.

“First tell me, i came right to take care why did you come? Dost ho isliye kuch bhi karoge? Kal raatko halat dekhi thi? Harming yourself akal hai ke nai?” She kept scolding him but it made no difference to him.

She grabbed him by collar, “ what is wrong with you Aryan?! You are behaving like stranger past couple days.. You say couple words and thats it… Batao.. I am you best friend right ? Please stop making yourself guilty. I forgive you!! “ she pleaded looking for any emotions in his eyes.

“Dost are you sure Imlie? You never considered me best friend, rahi baat you forgiving me .. please dont i dont deserve it. I dont want to fight middle of road. Aaj shaam beach pe”

“Nai ayenge” she said angrily “aur tum officr akele jao nai aana tumhare saath”

“Oh baby you are coming to office with me.I am not leaving you alone until that man is behind bars.”

She started walking other way, he put her on shoulders and put her in car.

“Saamne police station hai aur tum ahhhhhh”

She screamed in frustration at this man behavior. She will go to beach and vent her frustration right now its time for work.

The anger kept building up until evening. Aryan and her went home together. He left a note that a driver will come to pick her up. He will be waiting for her. He also mention not to wear anything fancy.

Making a face , Imlie thought ofcourse its not a date i thought mana ne ke khatir thoda romantic banoge confessiya karoge but nai his maniac ness is not out yet. Anyways all that anger in her he better be wary of her.

Chap 21

She wore simple salwar like he said Nothing fancy. She was disappointed. She started doubting herself if he loves her or not or he actually think of her as just a best friend.

Maybe thats what it is. She was wrong. She felt sad all of sudden but she went to beach anyways expecting a big fight or showdown between them. After tonight she will leave from his house too. She loves him too much but now she needs to move on. But first she has to make sure he comes back to normal. He cannot live in guilt.

When she reached the live location she was suprised of no crowd nearby. He had found a secluded place. She can see crowd but the other side of the beach. He was standing there wearing tshirt and shorts. She went stand next to him , she knows he felt her presence. Both look at the small waves . It felt so soothing.

“Aryan before anything you say, i want to say please get the guilt off and am saying it final time. And you still want to stay in guilt then thats your problem. You are getting too much affected, your behavior is off the roof Aru. You have become aloof. Be old Aryan again. Thats all i want nothing else. I am sorry as well for not telling you earlier. “ She looked at him sideways, he just stared ahead, finally she saw tears.

She wanted to wipe it but before she could touch him, he started walking towards water, removing his shirt . He was now just in shorts.

“I AM SO DONE WITH YOU. You just ignored what i said!??Ughh i am leaving you useless dumba** idiot” she was infuriated. She turned around acting to walk away but he didnt look back. She was getting scared, is he still in guilt? What the hell is he doing? Is he going to .. OH NO!! He was already too deep in waters, she went behind him scared of losing him.

I am going to take him to psychiatrist tomorrow first thing. He turned around only his face visible in deep waters, she went near him to swim him back to shore. She grabbed his hand to drag him, but he pulled her back. They were really close. Their nose almost touching.

“Pagal hogay-“she couldnt complete her sentence and he dragged her underwater cupped her cheeks and gave her a passionate kiss at first she was shocked, then she reciprocated. He broke the kiss and brought her back up and confessed, “I love you “ and kissed her cheeks and nose. He touched his forehead with hers and “I love you I kept denying it but i love you i love you i love you . He hugged her and then he just silently cried not leaving her.

Imlie was beyong happy, she did not expect him to confess like this. It was romantic coming from Akdu like him. She didnt say anything it was his day today. They stayed there sometimes, he looked at her and smiled. “Look at you, itne din se you been scolding me all of sudden you are quiet i wonder why??”

“Shut up” she said shyly hitting his chest.

“Seriously though, i am sorry” he kissed her cheeks.

“Lets go, by the way i scared you didnt I??” He winked

Imlie rolled her eyes. She didnt have smart answers anymore. Her happiest night. She looked up and thanked her Amma.
