Man, I started that show for Harshad but dropped it after like 4mths. That show needs to work on its story more than its wardrobe (which is almost as bad). Pranali sure is talented, but in all honesty, I’m wondering how Sumbul being infinitely more talented isn’t getting as much attention, if not more. Sumbul's performance and what's being asked of her, especially at 18/19 years old, is phenomenal and the lack of recognition surprises me. Even her performance in article 15 didn't get as many shoutouts as it should've. Likewise, Atif and the entire direction and production team are out of this world, I mean look at how aesthetic those shots are. ITV production should learn from the team, like Gul's other shows don't match up to the production quality and aesthetic IMO.
Precisely. It’s baffling and frankly, saddening. Look at the FDs for this show as well. One’s going gaga over Fahmaan, one over Gashmeer, and yet another over Manasvi. And they deserve all of it, but where’s the appreciation and recognition for Sumbul? Not nearly enough people are talking about her or her work when she’s been doing so much heavy lifting on the show since day 1, as the only constant in the show. The crew as well. I haven’t seen another ITV show so far with such well thought out scenes, aesthetics, and cinematography. I keep saying this, but it’s like watching a movie.Originally posted by: Baarish_Sim
