I love this character!!! So let me explain -- I only recently discovered this drama thanks to some random MVs on youtube. I watched a few arlie vids and I was curious. So I opened hotstar and randomly watched the last few episodes. Then I searched for when the character Aryan made the entrance and been catching up here and there.

So some of the reasons this character stands out:

1. He not only respects women but he expects them to be strong -- he has zero time or energy for rhona dhona. He fantastically tells Imlie to take control of her life, let go of her negative past and focus on her goals.

2. He is a straight talker -- I loved the noodle chopstick scene where he tells Imlli that he is the first person who has entered her life who is not an idiot. That all the idiots have been telling her that she is fine just as she is. When she counters they are her loved ones, he point blank asks then why is she alone? why is she abandoned? why was she in a position where she is forced to stay in his house. -- Yup, no time for BS and he calls it as it is

3. Clarity of thought -- this is not someone who is having emotional meltdowns and neither is he an emotion yo-yo (Aditya) He does not change his mind and go from one extreme to another. He knows what he wants, what his goals and he is focused.

4. He sees the world for as it is -- while Imlie thinks he is negative, he actually is able to see the pluses and minuses. For her new year resolution, Imlie says she will not abandon her loved ones while his is protect all those he cares about. He reprimands her and asks where is she in the resolution, that once again, she puts others above herself. He fantastically tells her that there is a difference in his resolution and hers -- his loved ones actually care and follow through, whereas her loved ones do not fight for her and abandon her. Zero sugar coating but calling it as it is. The other area is how he cooly makes comments on business -- while Aditya's ego thinks that he gets to decide what readers want, Aryan cooly points out that the paper has been under a loss and it is the readers who decide what they want to read.

5. He cares -- yes, the events that has happened has made him seem like a robot but he does cry, he does hurt, he does worry and he pauses. ❤️

Almost all ASR's actions have a reason. Whether that reason is right or not is a different thing. But never have I understand the "Pani pheko" scene.

Why did Aryan throw water on Imlie's face? Is there any thoery present? If yes, plz tell me.
