Personally I am fine with it because it gives makers some time to create a good reason for their marriage where no one is forced...geez I really wished they would have given us some more time of Imlie doing stories and continuing her education. Can't they just do a 6 month leap of Imlie leaving to do her studies and Aryan not following her? When she comes back they continue their relationship as usual. Imlie literally can't catch a break. She's saved Adi from dying multiple times, she has either been saved or has saved herself from dying, not to mention the various court cases that are still pending (ello she did escape from jail) and then the other 50 things I mentioned...oof
I don't mind the wait either tbh... I just want this whole track about AKT & the weather fiasco to just end quickly.
We know that Imlie heads to the T's to save their sorry assess from the accusations of the reporters (cause for some reason they can't do anything on their own and need a 19 yr old to do their work for them 🤢)
So from the BTS that was shown, what I am expecting from this track is for Imlie to understand a few things:
1) Journalists/Reporters can be brutal and their words can rile up the public against a person and their family. Not sure if she has been through wrong accusations yet in the show but I really want her to experience this thru this incident.
2) How poorly chosen words and abuse of their power can seriously damage someone's reputation, ruin theirs and their families lives, lead to fights and even lead to death
Only by experiencing and witnessing this will she truly understand the reasons for Aryan's reasons for taking revenge from AKT.
3) How manipulative AKT and his words can be & how they could have been the cause of Arvind's death. His words (written and spoken) riling up the already angry crowd leading to Arvind's death is very much possible and it's what I am expecting to see based on how this new AKT is being shown.
I believe AKT's pieces have always been controversial and I think the way this new character is being drawn that's what they might be showing us - the ugly side of journalism. How a biased theory or though process can change other peoples thinking for the worst and inadvertently damage someone's life.
4) How Aryan is also not wrong in his own way to seek revenge from AKT... even though none of this actions prove that he wants revenge 😆
So in short BEFORE THE WEDDING:
I would want to see this damn revenge plot to be closed either in its entirety - by Imlie also helping Aryan through his grieve (cause clearly the man doesn't know what to do about this revenge or even if he wants it) & giving bhashan to AKT about his wrongly chosen words resulting in someone's death and Aryan punishing him for it by suspending him or firing him from BT😃👍🏼.
OR they can close it partially- by showing Imlie getting an idea about how AKT could potentially be the underlying reason but not the cause of Aru's BIL's death. And that she should help him get over this whole revenge plot cause at the end of the day it was an accident and that he needs to grieve.
The promo tbh is confusing to me. On one side Aru say's "if you want to save AKT then you HAVE TO marry me" then Imlie is shown holding the Marriage certificate and says "This document is fake and so is the marriage" ... Like this doesn't look forced to me... on the contrary its AKT who is forcing Imlie to marry ASR (one punya done by AKT in his lifetime 😆)
Lastly, I don't remember MHRW promo about the wedding but I think that was the only forced wedding that didn't seem annoying to me. The angst after the wedding was literally like maybe a week and then it was all happy happy.. One forced wedding that I did not mind 😆
But if what Sundari says is right then I definitely want to see this track to be closed before the wedding and the reason for the fake that later becomes forced wedding to be a good one. Like saving AKT from going crazy after Imlie cause he is married man with a kid on the way (you know something logical).
Please lurkers that are wandering about..let it be a good reason 🙏
