The weirdest thing I found in today's episode is that Aditya actually answered Malini's phone call. Since when has he been picking up her calls? And to compound it all he did exactly as she asked him to do, resigned. He's got nothing between his head, his ribcage and his legs.

I think the "ghor jhopada paap" that Arylie were indulging in that he "witnessed" in Pagdandiya may have short-circuited all the parts between the top of his skull and legs.

He just doesn't have the personality/presence to match GM. Everything from his posture to expression. I am forever going to visualize GM as AKT. Yes I disliked AKT but I totally shipped GM. Towards the end even he looked uncomfortable with the character change the creatives had written him. It's like he had lost heart. 😕

big shoes to fill, and I think that’s why I feel more confident with the assessment that ASR is the male lead and arylie is end game bc they would have tried to salvage something about Adi and tried to ensure the talent replacing GM could carry the baton just as fast.

Instead they’re like OK guess we’re going to move on from this and into something different hence asr. 😍

Seriously I felt the same. I haven't really watched watched GM as AKT but have caught glimpses of him previously. Even when his character was destroyed by the writers for whatever reasons, he was good...as in convincing...at least you felt disgusted by his behavior which basically means he manages to convince us viewers. This new person I can't even think of him as an antagonist.
