For a moment, near the end of the handhold as he turns his face back to Narmada … I felt a bit sad. It was almost like, this moment wasn’t just a standstill in time but something that might get overlooked and left to ruminate on. A mere stolen moment.

as he releases her hand it felt as if I was hearing the internal struggle within his mind. With what right can he hold her but also do they need to define their true relationship? I think this grey area will be a point of contention bc their current labels only fit in particular settings … outside the office and paying rent … they’re not employer-employee & landlord-tenant. Until when will they have to battle btwn what will be acceptable to them and one another? I, personally, don’t see more than admiration and respect but this was the slow burn I wanted 🥰

Anyway, I do have faith in Aryan’s core character as he’s always answered the call of my analysis and character speculation. Any and all things are addressed bluntly and directly. He asked her in a clear voice, enough for all to hear, “where did you think you were sneaking off to?” I’m this person, too. I’m quiet and observant, patient and acquiescing to a fault at times, but if there’s an elephant in the room … I’ll shine a spotlight on it in a masked statement. No one can hide from a direct question. It’s a pure chess move on his part. The pawns moved where they should thus being useful when required, and AryLie are left in “checkmate” while AdiNi play at “fools mate” despite being mere bishops (essentially useless )

Hasn't Aryan done that once already when Imlie's dress was sliced from behind by AC at the AdiNi Haldi function. He took her to a separate corner and showed her that her kameez is torn, Imlie was crying, he apologized for holding her without her consent and the next instant he runs her hands through her choti to cover her exposed back, and tells her Stop Crying😆
