You guys are right, laws in itv has no place.
Anyways as I was watching old episodes today (because of someone's obvious absence in the episode) two things caught my eye.
1. When Aryan deleted the text from BS, it was not like ki dekha aur aur delete kar diya that few people (read adilie phankhis). He literally thought ki he should give the phone and then thought that will this really be good for her who was crying and saying sorry to herself for not standing when people were treating like a doormat by the person who is (apparently) the reason of losing his dear one. And to be very honest if I would have been in his place I would have definitely done the same thing.
2. In the launch party his internal monologue said that imlie should be in control of her life. But do you guys think that after breaking all her bandhan and meeting Aryan she is in control of her life in true sense. As in I completely agree that whatever Aryan thinks and does for him are all in good faith and only facilitates her growth but there have been so many situations when Imlie choose the option which Aryan showed her is right or choose for her.
I mean, self-destruction, self-harm, suicid* are all technically choices, right? Saying that doesn't take mental health into consideration. Free will and absolute individualism are all abstract concepts; we are connected to other people in real life. Like say, voting. You can vote for a serial killer because that's your right as an individual citizen but that would still make you a terrible person because of how detrimental that choice is to everyone else and even yourself.
Take a more everyday decision with immediate effect, if you're deadly allergic to something and still chose to eat it, someone ought to stop you right?
Sometimes, we all need a bit of intervention. What Aryan has never done is manipulate her into situations where either choices are not actually choices but his will. She always had a choice. To not heed his advice, to not cover Adini wedding, to not prioritise her career over BS-ing.
