More things I learned today from this toxic show...The kind of messaging this show promotes at this point is more toxic than another lady's show. And I just want them to see this. Their desperation for TRP led to Imlie's wannabe epic screech for Babusaheb at his second wedding to Malini and third general wedding and now this...Newsflash, this is how to you loose the audience, we don't live in the 1800s anymore.
1. Aditya's teenage nanny does not care that her mom is alive. But what happened to Babusaheb tho?
2. To hell with nani, forgot all about her. Not even a dialogue is spared. Must run and go save the jijaji even though I saw him blown off in front of my own eyes with 20 commandos present. I will do what they couldn't, she thinks. (I agree with Anu, Imlie is not the superhero that they all think she is. Both Anu and Malini have a point here with the Tripathi mama's teenage ex-wife-savior-complex).
3. Aditya's nanny can throw off adult men with a shot arm and run away from the hospital. The police don't even dare rearrest her after she ran away from jail because men in this show are nothing against the 5'2" girl.
4. Aparna is convinced nothing with happen to Malini's husband because his teenage nanny and ex-wife is with him as babysitter. This kind of disgusting faith in the other woman to whomever her son is married to at the moment is the reason her son has turned into a two-timer. Anu is right, the Tripathis are disgusting with their jap for Imlie when their son is presumed dead. They have no thought for his wife-of-the-moment and mother of his assault baby. This is not romantic at all, writers. If you think it is, you need to read a romance. It happens between two people, not between the saas and the ex-wife.
5. Aparna is so sane and calm about her 35 year old son's death (in denial), that she can soothe her 5-minute bestie when that woman is sorry for Aditya going missing. This makes total sense. The CVs have no idea how to direct or write grief.
6. Who else saw the biting and thought of my FF Sabr? At this point, they have taken so many scenes from Sabr while taking none of the logic or Arylie romance that I lost count.
7. Imlie doesn't know love/care when it hits her in the face. This is not a woman who has been with anyone and is not comfortable with male-touch generally (even from her Jijaji-Hubby), but she doesn't notice all the hugs she's getting from Aryan. Who cares about the hugs from an eligible, single man when a thrice married Jijaji is in the picture? That's how you build chemistry according to 4-Lions.
8. Malini clears Tripathi house so that they eventually don't have to take the burden of Tripathis going under. Aditya's nanny will come to the rescue by blackmailing her nanny, Aryan, into financing their move-in to Rathore house. Somehow, Aryan will take on the living of 7 people not related to him, but related to the guy who endangered his Jijaji (The show should be called Jijaji Ki Jaap, not Imlie). This will give a chance for his sister to fall in love with the butler who can't read because that is all a widow can aspire to once one man leaves her. Gul's budget is small so everyone needs to be in one set eventually always, so this is bound to happen. Aryan's mom's five minute friendship at the temple was all about establishing this setup even if it makes no human sense for two stranger families to live under the same roof. Because what is less awkward than having to live with the ex-in-law-and-pretend-new-family and current in-laws for Imlie? She is going to like this and want it.
9. Girls, whenever you are forced into a marriage with an older man, become his nanny immediately, drop all your ambitions, and don't let go no matter how many other women he goes to and has babies with. That's the sanskari nari way. Commitment to pati parmeshwar even when he blows himself up to get away from you is love. And always ignore the better single man around you who takes interest and tells you to move on. Who wants an Aryan when you can have your Double Jijaji in a fourth marriage?
10. I am stick to death of this show. All I want is some romance between Arylie and for Imlie to move on like she has a backbone, but they are writing this disgusting pati bhrata nari bs with the toxic saas who always prefers the mistress-of-the-moment to the wife-of-the-moment. Is this a show about the love of Aparna and Imlie because that is all we are getting.
What do we have to do to have these useless Tripathis cut from the show?
