I feel that the character Meethi and the actress who plays her, doesn’t get the appreciation she is due. She has such a presence onscreen. It’s so magnetic. Meethi’s character shows where Imlie gets her magnetism as well. I couldn’t keep my eyes off her when she protected Aditya. She needs more onscreen time. Much more than the Tripathi ladies at least. I would love to see her friendship with the Rathore ladies.

Omg, I so think that Imlie's natal family and Rathores are much better written than either the Ts or the Cs.

I even love how complex, though deplorable, a character Nani is. They are such wonderful actors and deserve much much more ss than pretence-mothers who expect Imlie to raise their man-child.

She is a powerful actress. Sumbul rightly noted that when she was asked about her favorite actress rather than say some big Hollywood name. I always liked the actress.

100% agreed! Thanks for posting this because I had the same thoughts! Why don't they give Meethi enough screen time but instead we have Anu and her horrendous facial expressions!!

I love you and have also been thinking thiss!!

Back story! I was thinking of Imlie and Bhagya Lakshmi (diff channel), and these are the first two FL's in the longest time where the FL has a slightly darker complexion then the usual Katrina Kaif/Kaushal kind of complexions we are sooo used to!

I love that soooo much for Imlie though! Wish ITV had more representation of the other 60% of India...

Both Meethi and Satyakaam.

They have grit, integrity and above all endurance.

I completely agree of them getting much more screen time then the Tripathi's and even those toxic Chaturvedi's.

exactly..

Meethi and Satyakam deserve much more screen space they are given.. they show us what real strength looks and feels like.. fighting for ur right and not to bow down to wrong.. that zeal for life...

they should be more often and with more significant contribution to the overall story

And the character depth of these two people.

It's considered a taboo in India to have an illegitimate child. Consider being pregnant without wedlock 20 years ago. What kind of endurance Meethi has to go through all the mental trauma and taunts. If she wanted she could have easily married Satyakaam that time itself. He was read for that. But she didn't.

And no one, absolutely no one can love the child which someone else has fathered with the woman whom they love. But Satyakaam did.

He loved Imlie as his own child. Taught her the ways of life. Taught her to fight for herself.

Hats-off to these two actors who managed to bring life in the characters of Mithi and Satyakaam
