They did show it. Aditya tried to save him from the mob I guess and pushed him into his car but then somebody threw the cocktail. So according to those flashbacks, Aryan drew the conclusion. But those flashbacks are not that cohesively shot and have left some amount of ambiguity to shape that part later according to the TRPs.

that amount of ambiguity is there to make Aryan's conclusion of the event as ambiguous as its shown to us.. its intentional to make us understand that Aryan's understanding is based on this non cohesive collection of images which are not the truth of the event.

once things will be explained to Aru looooooooooong later we will see the well edited cohesive version of it to make sure we viewers understand the event alongwith Aru not before/not after him...

Yes, I've been thinking along the same lines since the divorce. Given that they had forced the wedding, a divorce is not something that they will accept sitting by. Again, Satyakaam is in jail so not much reason for people to not create faltu ka chaos. And if naya shehri babu also ends up in PD, toh pata nahi kya kya patake futne wale hain. 🤣 Though this could also be a nice way for Aryan to learn about Imlie’s family and background apart from Aditya.
