Guys .ek question tha... Off the topic.... aryan ne to rumal se car ki kach torte waqt waha gira diya the phir usne ek or rumal imlie ko aasu pochne kaise diye....ITV logic.... Banda do do rumal leke gumta hain.. Rumal scene se ek jodi ki yaad agaye.....or Imlie ne uska rumal hi jala diya.....

slowly going through the thread & not sure if anyone put forth a theory but here’s my thought:

I feel as if Aryan noticed Imlie during the fight when she tried breaking up the boxers. He turned his attention to the ring & entered it right after she was thrown to the ground. She further leaves an impression when she rightfully defends him; especially highlighting the difference between Aditya’s presumptive journalism and her natural righteousness.
Coming to the water - I feel like it was his not so soft way of helping her clean up from falling on the fighting ground. Normally, people nicely hand a napkin or put water in the palm of someone’s hand but Aru was exhibiting his rough compassion. He was being compassionate in a not so overt way.

See those few scenes were attention seeking gimmicks like hello look here's the typical Gul product/ ml for you. Water throwing etc are typical Gul tropes. Aryan hasn't done anything as such after that. But if you are asking as per the story I guess it was probably a foreshadowing of Imlie's kaya palat or Renewed version/ wash off the dirt that she had been put through & let her shine. I mean that's where the story headed after that. I could very well be wrong but that's how I saw it.
