I could see a fake engagement. If the goal is to protect Imlie, an engagement would suffice.

It could go like this:

- If Aditya keeps coming at her despite being married to Malini. Aditya being Aditya won't understand a no from a single Imlie but might be more inclined if she "belonged" to another.

-The catch is that for Aryan to suggest it there has to be love in his heart. I personally think he is more likely to propose genuinely than as a sham. But if they do end up in a fake engagement it will likely be because Imlie can't accept anything real at this stage due to lack of confidence, residual feelings and overall tiredness.

Ayran is well on his way to love and would likely marry Imlie for real. Give the show a couple more weeks and I'm sure he'll be there. I initially thought he would put up a huge fight similar to some other 4 Lions heroes. But when Narmada proposed to Imlie, Aryan's' reaction was curious. He was only worried for Imlie and not at all personally appalled. I could be wrong, but I really really do think there will be nothing fake about a fake engagement/marriage even if it does happen. It's all about intention.

Yes i noticed in that scene, he didn't protest like usual that he doesn't want to marry and stop scheming of his marriage like he did earlier, also he'd said once that imlie is only intern the day he brought imlie home as pg and his tone was defensive that time - like caught in the act.

I don't if it even means anything, it's too subtle as he knows imlie's state exactly...

Guys I was just listening to "Yeh galiyan Yeh Chaubara" and had a thought.

It would match Malini and Imlie situation.

Malini singing/dancing to this song for Imlie would be perfect for this situation as she would mock her during the sangeet.😆

Actually I watch the show on and off.....but when I saw Imlie take a stand and then aryan came... I am hooked and see all the episode.... I mean I am liking Aryan character..... He is strong and knows what he is doing... He motivated Imlie many times....thats what keep me intriguited to this serial now....and rhe story is about Imlie r8....so she can brought a change to the society.... Who said that love cant happen twice.....I dont Imlie loves aditya....because thier marriage was forced and imlie come from a village where people teach girls that u can only love your husband and not anyone else...So imlie is thinking process is based on the thougt....I wish makers made arylie the endgame...and change the thought process of the society that a girl can move on and love anyone as her choice...not out of tradation and forced relationship.... After seeing the scenes.... There r many signs that arylie will happen....but it is upto makers....who decide which couple will be endgame.....till then I will watch the show for arylie....if they buthcer aryan character then I will say bye to the show.....

Aryan character keep me intriguited to the show.....I am a silent member....was active few months ago on actually I forgot the name of the serial..... I use to active on the forum...
