I think they are showing ki Imlie has the capacity to get easily influenced too - especially when she's in a vulnerable place. Some how I feel all this going to end up like this only. Adi did many many many mistakes but ab yeh imli kuch sahi nahi kar rahi. She is going to realise that adi was not only played by criminal maa beti but she herself contributed to his destruction by being aru ji puppet ......There's a reason why the whole fandom is divided. Kuch log imli ke galtiya dekhna hi nahi chahte when makers are actually showing that only ......OR phir baad main jab sab khatam ho jayega or when she'll realise that she herself had contributed to aditya's downfall toh suddenly isko aditya ki hi baat yaad ayegi ......ABHI TUMHE DUNYADARI KI SAMAJH NAHI HAI IMLI SAB KI NIYAAT SAAF NAHI HOTI. He said something like this at asr house jab lene gaya tha imli ko and she got ugly saying nahi gaye toh kabhi apni shakal nahi dikhayengay.

Aditya ka downfall toh hona hi hai but it's clear ki imli is acting as a catalyst for that ......

Waise toh usually it's a very long shot in this story ki kabhi Imlie ko galat prove hota dikhaayein😆.....they always twist her mistakes also as mahaanta and then glorify those😆

But I think you do have a point. Jitna abhi build up diya jaa raha hai Arylie ko - with already scenes of Imlie making him laugh, Imlie blindly following his manipulative gyaan as reference for how to respond to anything related to her relationship with Adi, this Imlie who keeps talking about this one job, this one assignment like it's her aakhri sahara in life and she isn't capable of doing anything else😆......I think all this is being built up abhi cuz she is going to get a shock and possibly some kind of guilt trip when she learns that the guy she has been blindly following is someone who is out for revenge against her Babusahib.....that she may have played a part in all that by listening to the guy who wished harm to Adi.

Two things are happening in parallel right now.....Adi ka downfall and Aryan ka stake rising in Imlie's eyes as some "gyaan guru"....lol....but I think when she finds out Aryan's true motives all being against Adi, it will put a crack in this haze she's in right now....this blind haze that has convinced her ki this guy alone has the answers for navigating life and career.....because is sab khichdi mein log bhool gaye hain ki Adi is totally innocent of that Jeeju ki death angle that ASR is framing him for.....Imlie ke jo 100 grudges hain against Adi will pale in front of the fact that he is being wrongfully accused/targeted by this Aryan....and that might actually then get looped in with Imlie remembering what true journalism is supposed to be - what Adi was fighting for that day as well for which he's now being wrongfully accused.....since she has submitted herself to this career of doing Page 3 trash under the guidance of Udhaarwala.....lol it might be a reality check ki Dadda ki beti was not made for doing gossip reporting and shaayad akkal aa jaaye isko about what her true calling is.
