Why did Adi marry Malini and why Imlie let him?

I started watching the show after Farman's entry, so I have these questions. In today's episode Imlie says that Apne sasuraal mein naukrani ban kar rahi hai, did Adi introduced her as a servant? Did he married Malini because he loved her? Then why did he divorced Malini later and not Imlie? Why Imlie let his husband marry someone else in front of her? How was Malini pregnant if they were divorced?

I know many would say to follow updates but I am too lazy to do so 😂
