Most of us are not from Gen Z , in fact I am from Gen X , So our way of thinking is different . Just because of a small misunderstang ,we can’t throw out PATI from our life . Being GOOD LOOKING , for every wife , their husband is GOOD LOOKING . In real life Married every family have have up and down . Marriage means is to be together in Happiness and Sadness .

Imlie should never leave the Tripathis , giving in to Malini . She should be there , and Handle the situations more professionally with the support of the family . But i can’t blame her , she is young her emotion took over her mind .

Zubaidah I completely agree with your pov and is of same thought process, physical beauty gets weared out with time but not companionship.

This girl has been with him through the biggest horror of his and her life and also adjusted in accordance to his priorties all she just wanted was a trust from his end and some actions supporting his claims,keeping the ambiguity in mind,let us assume,he has 100% of it on her ,but he needs to show this in his actions as well,when his actions are completely contradictory to what he says,it becomes very difficult for someone to stay in that relationship when there has been setbacks after setbacks,and clear proves after proves.

And she staying there will harm more and more lives. Malini first destroyed Adi and then SK in combination of 2 events , then she blamed Imlie for firing at her. Next who knows who will be targeted and what blame will be put on whom. Imlie is his wife doesn't mean that she can fight this battle alone, she did try. She also needs support even if bare minimum. She is crying for help, she is forewarning that something bad will happen. Neither that warning is taken seriously, nor she gets any kind of emotional support after the event.

In both the events she lost someone dear to him, first her pati then her Dadda, still she is trying to hold on. But what does she get in response, questions, accusations of vaham. She is also a human at the end of the day.

Flowerji I agreed with the setback and proves , but of giving up to Malini after going thru many diffculity now suffering alone .

2 options -

First - Throw Aditya completely from her life and move on independently . Which I don’t want to happen ( throwing her husband out )

Independently - she already doing ini

Aryan is her Boss , she not depending on him

. He is always where Imlie is

2nd - Fight the Battle with Malini . Bcos no matter How Smart a person is , They must have some hidden weakness , which can Be used for their downfall

Definitely but everyone has a threshold,she hasn't thrown him out as of now ,her only stance is she wants her to mouth him that he trusts her and Malini is wrong .

He could have done it akele mein and tell her that he knows malini is wrong but they need to manage her with care as Imlie knows what she can do.

He is also triggering her saying that I know her since 7 years and all those these things.

The other trigger for her is he himself is not taking any effort of finding truth and when she is doing that for him he turns back.

She always says he has turned back to malini ka truth ( hindi mein muh fere huye h).

Not he doesn't know the truth.She used to say this before video deletion.

It is not about gen X or gen Z. Husband and wife have always been husband and wife. Then also boundaries and comfort zones were set by partners now also the those boundaries and comfort zones are set by 2 people in a relationship.

@red: where is that PATI in sadness? We saw Imlie with him when she knew he was r*ped. Knowing the truth alone and screaming it out to him too. She is explaining her discomfort in every way possible. MC broke her in all the ways she can and still is. Right now Imlie needs her husband but is he there?

Adi ji has always stressed on barabari ka rishta but do you really see that over their? I might be wrong or may be zoned out during that time when he actually was listening to her and giving it a thought. We saw him going to the chemist shop when MC accused Imlie of giving her wrong medicine but why was is so difficult for Adi ji to do the same when Imlie was throwing allegations at MC.

@green: My statement on looks was not about real life men but the PATI in the serial Imlie. Most of the fangirls are more interested in the looks of Adi ji than the actual character( strictly my observation and pov)

@blue: maybe I can never be a good wife then. For me if a person has been beaten down to a level from where they are unable to get back up, it is better to retreat and start fresh how ever one feel is the right way.Come back when you feel is the right time and leave if that right time too long for you to wait.

I don't think Imlie left any stone unturned in her koshish to show Adi ji the light. It should be up to hum to walk towards it sit in the dark. Imlie held on till she could and is right to leave. Adi ji is going to be a great father there is no doubt in that but he will never be a good husband to Imlie until he realises where he is wrong. He won't realise that until he himself is in that situation. Adi's character has never been empathetic so how will this character actually understand?

I maybe coming off as modern in my approach but if one partner in uncomfortable to an unbearable extent then the other one obliges. I might have failed to see that from Adi's side.

Lastly, I do agree to most of your points but here we are seeing everything in extremities. Imlie stood with Adi in the most bizzarest of situations( that most women from gen x too would have not been able to deal with) and still wants to be with him. The only thing she wants him to do is to understand and she will compromise again with whatever the situation is. I don't know how that is too much that she has asked from him.
