Wow we got an uninterrupted 3.5 mins ka Adi-Imlie scene & it really was good with their own unique flavour.

I understand the point you & Naadan were discussing about the sajna dhajna being irrelevant conveyed in the most convoluted manner😆. We all know that it doesn't matter to both of them still Imlie is doing it because Didi apparently teased her insecurities about not being worthy enough for Adi & Adi is indulging her because it's his Jhalli & everything that she does is the best for him😆. Jhalle the both of them.

But point to be noted is that though Imlie was apparently trying to be more of an ornamental bahu, she still was trying to change the bulb herself. And even Adi could have very well offered to fix the bulb himself but it seemed it didn't even occur to him. His Jhalli wanting to fix the bulb herself is the norm for them & there really doesn't seem to be a gender assigned role for them as partners. They both have the freedom to play any role that they want in their relationship. If Imlie wants to change the bulb which is at an unreachable height for her, then her BS will bring her the ladder to reach the height, ensure her safety by making her wear footwear😆. That is such an accurate picture of their partnership on a larger scale. Adi helping his Jhalli reach her goal not by doing the things for her but by providing her tools to empower herself.

We also saw a role reversal in the same convo later on with Imlie assuring him that though he might not have been a good husband initially but now he is the best husband & he would win the coveted wazifa for it🤣. I just loved the whole partnership vibe of the scene. Their deep love & connection came across so beautifully in a small convo. As we have discussed before, Adi-Imlie do not require the typical romantic scenes to display their love. This easy going comfort & honesty between them displays their love for each other effectively. I just adore such simple scenes of them😍.

@bold: Very good point.....yes indeed, despite the external image of ornamental bahu, Imlie is still very much herself....wanting to do chores herself.....lol I was just laughing ki isne sari toh pehen li par yeh nahin socha ki aisi sari pehen ke dikkat hogi in the freedom of movement that she is generally used to😆......the PD style sari look usually has her sari pinned up so that doesn't restrict her movements much😆

And word about Adi as well....yes he's very bossy and cranky with her about many things.....but even as he keeps scolding her, he's never tried to brush her aside to do one of her tasks himself.....he usually provides that support and assistance to get her to her destination but doesn't try to walk the path on her behalf......again, woh saath wala angle which is the cornerstone of their relationship is still being conveyed nicely 👏......they are partners in the true sense....ek dusre ko sambhaalne waale, na ki ek dusre pe haavi hone waale.

Imlie was adorable in giving him assurance that he is a very good husband now😆.....mujhe toh hassi aa rahi thi how it looked like she was consoling him ki koi baat nahin, you've improved now🤣

They are just filled with such positive and lovely vibes when they are left to themselves.....😊

Fully agree with you both ..about how adi empowers her he contributes but doesn't ever try to create any badha or to make her feel like she cannot do anything on her own .. he offers help but doesn't interfare when it is something she wants to do and is capable of doing..he never doubts her abilities not even when she takes stuff that is too much for her poor little soul..
