So true. Completely agree on this. It was almost like she was preparing Imlie to face the real world with confidence, unlike some others who just do not want to grow up.

The irony of it all. Yay episode Malini tells Imli when she tries to nab AC’s phone, “take care of your husband and family on your own. Don’t get emotional and handle your own life”. Talk about projecting on to a Imli what she needs to hear herself

Then she tells Imli as she’s about to leave Ts house “you can’t just go to a minister’s house and tell them to get Adi released, you have to plan properly and follow the rules, who do you know and what do you know about the outside world?” That is exactly what she did with Daku Dev straight to a minister’s house to get Adi released. The plan was to wear ms and sindoor to announce she was Adi’s wife? The hypocrisy and the ridiculousness of her statements? Geez O Pete!

Hope Imli awakens from this Malini Didi boli hai nonsense and recognize DD is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Hmm true that... but that is also what I have a problem with. Don't try to break some so bad that you stop existing for them.

Nakli naani has tried to do that to Imlie that when push comes to shove, Imlie knows how to control her NN.

With the Ts its gonna be a different game. She has to stay in the same house (assuming my dream of Adi and Imlie moving to Mumbai does not come true), and she has time and again claimed she does not want Adi to leave his parents and family. She cannot tie them up like how she did NN.
